in Outdoors and more2 years ago (edited)

Hello, fellow Outdoors Lovers!

Behold the captivating story of my wife from Estonia and me from Brazil. We embarked to the world's far corners, immersing ourselves in the awe-inspiring beauty of outdoor landscapes and nature's wonders. Today, I proudly present my amateur photographic skills as an entry in this illustrious contest Outdoors and more: Scenery posting contest. Thank you, @galenkp, for this great opportunity!

Here we are Celebrating the magic of outdoor and nature photography!

Why not start extremely 😀 The first stop is: Nepal, South Asia.

Back in May 2021, We took a trip to Nepal. I am so bummed I lost my camera on this trip, but here are some pictures I have from my phone.

Let's Now take a transitional photo taken in July 2022 of a family often traveling with us. Diego from Brazil and Sigrit from Estonia, a similar scenario of my wife and I, except they are a bit older and they have a son called Solis 😍

This next picture might seem like a usual beautiful sunset with a gorgeous woman in it, right? What is unusual about this is the time that it was taken... This picture was taken on June 30th 2022, at 12:18 AM 😮

I present to you the MIDNIGHT SUN!

The midnight sun is a natural phenomenon that occurs near the Earth's poles, specifically within the Arctic Circle or the Antarctic Circle. During the summer months, these regions experience continuous daylight, where the sun remains visible even at midnight. For example, the longest day in Estonia is around June 21st.

Estonia, a picturesque Northern European country, is renowned for its vast and enchanting forests. The Estonian forest, covering approximately half of the country's land area, plays a vital role in the nation's identity, culture, and environmental heritage.

Having resided in Estonia for 5 years, my time in this fascinating country presented me with a wholly unique experience compared to my upbringing in Brazil and subsequent years in the United States (where I graduated from Highschool and became a professional Ballet dancer. From the people I encountered to the culture, I immersed myself in, every aspect diverged from what I had previously known. Notably, the weather stood out as a stark contrast. The photograph I share now captures a moment during the vibrant summer season, highlighting the beauty that can be found in this remarkable country.

A visit to Estonia during the summer is an absolute must. The country reveals its true splendor, showcasing breathtaking beauty that will leave visitors in awe. With temperatures peaking around 30 degrees Celsius for a limited period, the climate remains pleasantly warm without becoming uncomfortably hot. However, it's worth mentioning that my experience also involved encountering the extreme opposite end of the temperature spectrum. I vividly recall enduring a bone-chilling -20 degrees Celsius during a relentless snowstorm. In a comical twist, my search for the taxi I had ordered was abruptly halted as my phone succumbed to the frigid temperatures and ceased to function. Such weather extremes testify to Estonia's climatic diversity, presenting picturesque summer scenes and unforgettable winter landscapes.

I know, I know, no trees are allowed, but come on!! Look at this one!!! It is the roots of the roots!! Once all this was under the ground! Trees are a harmonious balance between the earth and the sky, symbolizing the importance of finding balance in life. They embody the harmony of opposites and the need for equilibrium. Hug a Tree Today!

Hey, Look! It's Solis again! and Sigrit, his mom. They travel in a Caravan, and my wife and me in a car. We might either all sleep in the Caravan or we will sleep in our trunk. On the road, we cook a lot. We try to stay away from industrialized food, and look at this baby helping us cook 🥰

Madeira is an archipelago and autonomous region of Portugal located in the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 560 miles (900 kilometers) southwest of Lisbon. It consists of four main islands: Madeira, Porto Santo, and the smaller uninhabited islands of Desertas and Selvagens.

I love Rock climbing! It is a thrilling and challenging sport that allows you to connect with nature while testing your physical and mental strength. Whether you prefer indoor climbing on artificial walls or venturing outdoors to conquer natural rock formations, rock climbing offers a unique and exhilarating experience.

up Next, ILHA DO MEL.

Ilha do Mel, which translates to "Honey Island" in English, is a beautiful island located off the coast of Paraná, Brazil. Situated in the Atlantic Ocean, about 110 kilometers south of the city of Curitiba, which is where I am from. Ilha do Mel is known for its pristine beaches, lush nature, and relaxed atmosphere. No cars are allowed.

The island is a popular destination for nature lovers and those seeking a tranquil escape from city life. It is characterized by its unspoiled beaches, clear turquoise waters, and abundant vegetation. The island is home to diverse ecosystems, including the Atlantic rainforest, dunes, and mangroves, providing a rich natural environment.

I actually live now in Pontal do Sul, Paraná, Brazil. Where I am staying in a place with my wife and cat near my parents' house 💛

This is a really great post, but it cannot be considered an entry as you have not followed the entry rules, which is a pity. To be fair to the others that did follow the rules I simply cannot accept the entry.

You can change your tag as below to comply if you like, although it'll have to be done prior to the entry deadline. (I hope you manage to do this as I really like your entry.)

OH My! I am so sorry! I appreciate your patience! I have done so! I hope everything is ok now

That's ok, I know you're new.

Feel free to ask me any questions you have, I'm happy to help. Looks ok, so I voted it and it'll be accepted as an entry.

Also, with the second post you did...You may want to do the edit thigh, get rid of all the text in there and wrote something else. That way you won't have two posts the same on the blockchain which is very frowned upon.

Just a suggestion. Do a short post, 200 words, saying how glad you are to have found the outdoors community to post in, or some such thing...It'll look better for you.

yey that is great!!! thank you very much!! can't wait to contribute more to the community !!

undertood! Will do so! thanks for looking out!

Hi! How is it going? I have been busy, but I have planned for another blog post on the community :)
2 things.
1- Was there a winner for the competition? I didn't see anything anywhere 😅
2- Are there direct messages on Peaked?
Have a great one man!

Hello, I'm well.

The contest concluded last Friday and the winners were announced in a post in this community on Saturday as per the contest parameters.
