Hi, I am new to Hive and am just checking out various communities, seeing how it all works. I have been doing CrossFit for 7 years, with the last 2 being completely at home. I use the SugarWOD app for tracking and actually created my own gym on there about a year ago. I typically follow CompTrain, with some benchmarks, Heroes, create-my-owns, Mayhem and Street Parking, and just modify for home equipment for my members. Just wanted to say hello and see if this is an active community to become a part of.

What do you think? I was looking up to see if crossfit was a community here as well. I am about 9 years in to crossfit, and thought having a crossfit community in here would be awesome.

It looks like there are very few members and not much recent activity. But I followed you rn and maybe we can find a more active space to grow in here. One of my NFT friends on Twitter shared this with me so I am still in my learning curve lol...but I like the setup so far, and like what I have read about $HIVE/Ecency so far. What about you? Have you been here long and what have your experiences with finding active communities on here been like?

No, I have been here a week and am trying to figure it all out. Hoping to star taking posts any day now. I am looking in to actifit because their group seems very active.

I’ll take a look at it as well. I found Exhaust today, seemed like it might be a good one to try out but not CrossFit specific

Exhaust is good and the people are active, too, but I would have to say that #actifit is more active than #exhaust. So far, I know exhaust has tried to incorporate the Strava app and I know Actifit has its own app, but I haven't downloaded it...if you need assistance in learning this blockchain thing, feel free to reach out. I'm teaching @liftslikealady right now with a few more in my family.

Thank you! There is definitely a learning curve here. One of my NFT/Twitter friends got me on here and has been helping me with questions as I have them, but if you have any guidance, tips, or ideas on things I should be generally be doing/doing better, I am wanting to learn 🤝

If you haven't checked out the proof of brain community yet, I suggest it. @scholaris officiates, to a degree, the word of the week contests. At the bottom of his posts, there is a newbie guide. It's actually really good. I've considered writing my own... but I might just make a YouTube video or a course instead. I haven't decided. I believe you followed me, so keep an eye out.
