I'm glad and happy with the ideas shared as a roadmap.
To address this issue, we’ll set governance votes to automatically expire one year after the last governance action by an account.
I was eagerly waiting for this feature. I personally thought 1 year is too long and maybe 6 months would have been a better timeframe.
It is still a question as to how it will work with the current proposal system. There are some proposals created by people that last only for 3 months or even less than that. Maybe a downvote option for the proposal system alone would help? Currently, there is no option for the community to tell if they don't want a particular proposal.
I believe it was @howo that coined the term “modular hivemind” to refer to this idea.
Wow, I like this idea so much. Right now most of the dapp developers are dependent on the public nodes that run Hivemind. There are still lots of latency issues where for example, even after 3 minutes delay I'm unable to fetch post details from condenser_api at times. It is also very costly for us to run our own full hivemind instance. If we can modularize hivemind, it would benefit the developers to run only the particular module that we would need.
Thank you so much for all the hard work that you and your team do.
