It was launch in 2017, with a descentralized shceme, with the borning idea comming from Germany. It is desinged to be used as a fast transaction currency (mixing POS and POW algorithms), and to guaranty privacy (through Trezar Messages), achieving a lightweight blockchain which any common user can mantain with its infrastructure.
The hybrid proof algorithm
Proof of Work
Trezar coin implements a mixed POS/POW algorithm. POW (proof of work) is the traditional way of generating new blocks in the blockchain, as bitcoin network does. In this case, every node of the network participates in a "block mining": each node is required to solve a computationally difficult problem to ensure validity of the newly mined block; and solutions are rewarded with coins. But, in the case of a massive growth of an only POW blockchain, is possible that we need more scarces computational resources. That's why bitcoin is inefficient from a resource standpoint, and aslo a currency that is only possible mining by companies that can pay the electricity facture. These leave us to the Tzc team propose: mix POW with POS.
Proof of Stake
We can explain the proof of stake (POS) algorithm in a line as the following: An individual stakeholder, who has p fraction of the total number of coins in circulation creates a new block with p probability. Through POS, you can turn into a Tzc inversor, acquiring value to the currency, using your own coins for the network functionality. This is a lightweight form of generate new blocks in the blockchain, because instead of relying on computational resources, the network seeks the staked monetary mount of each participants to generate new blocks.
Orbitcoin supershield
The landmark of the Trezar blockchain is the mix of these two protocols. And using the feature called Orbitcoin Super Shield (OSS), they regulates the difficult of every block, which gives more security to the network, anticipating multipool-mining, which creates higher difficulty for everyone.
All these features procure a profitable system, in which every user can have a node of the network. The main requisite, besides a program to understand the Trezar protocol, is a copy of the whole blockchain in each node.
The Trezar messages
They also implement an application called Trezar messages, using the peer-to-peer blockchain communication as a layer. Through Trezar messages you can use the Tzc blockchain as a support for sensitive information. Nowadays, is not completly available in all its forms, but right now you can send messages inside a secure channel. See in here for more information.
