It's been suggested before, but it seems a controversial topic, and my initial impression was that there were more people "against" than "for" the change, but there's been no formal stake vote on it that I recall. Ultimately, it's up to the community to decide.
Anyone can create a pair of for/against proposals on this topic. I suspect someone who wants the change will raise the issue as a pair of proposals, once we get past HF24, since the suggestion has come up several times.
Right now, HF24 has all the focus of my team.
