My friend maverickinvictus account which is registred with hive.recovery was compromised somehow and despite him having his seed he is unable to recover with hive.recovery someone named @sepa666 sent his available hive out of his account.

I checked the @maverickinvictus account. Although its recovery account is @hive.recovery, it looks like he changed his recovery account manually and didn't follow the procedure described in the user guide. Therefore, the automated recovery process cannot manage his recovery request.
