We have released an update to Hivesigner Chrome/Brave extension. Update was approved by ChromeStore team in a day or two, which is great considering #covid-19 slowed down approval rate quite a bit.
Please make sure you are using latest version 0.1.7.
Improvements include our latest changes to hivesigner web app as well as fixes for hive:// and steem:// protocol usage.
We are starting re-prioritize tasks on hand and continue to listen Dapp developers and users.
One of the priorities we are excited about, is to make mobile authentication and signing easier. With help of hive-uri library, I think we can create transaction signing standard that is supported by desktop apps, websites and mobile apps. Before mobile app, login and import of account should be fixed. People are struggling with login steps and getting confused, so identifying code parts that need re-implementing has already started. We will keep everyone updated with development progress.

Are you using some website or direct link with hivesigner?
When delegating HP on dlease, it asks for login method. When i click hivesigner and enter my keys, i get this error.
Can you check if your clock on your device is correct and up to date?
Yes it is correct. Does it has extension on other browser which I can try?

The problem with online form is practically you have to trust hivesigner site to always load a honest form.
But by hard coded form you have a signed version of form downloaded and you can compare it checksum later with other sources
Right, same goes to all extensions and they are in general less secure that's one of the reason we deprecated extension. Focusing better on website and improve usability. We are preparing for next major update for hivesigner.
