Nobody seems to realize how important every single vote is on Hive. Depending on where you live, the chance is like 99% that your influence here is a lot bigger than in your countries politics.
To help illustrate this, I created a small tool I nicknamed the hive democracy checker.

I just looked for a city with 1.49M people.
They couldn't have changed much I assume, but I won't let that stop me from blaming them for everything that's happening now.

4th largest city in the US. The city is all democrat. We did what we could. Problem is the rural Texas. They win in aggregate.
That's a simple and neat idea.
I'm in the top 150 accounts by HP, but definitely not on the UK rich list :) Our democracy is not based on wealth, but the rich can still have some outsized impact. It seem I can have some impact on Hive.
idk how or where you take the countries data from, but please add Estonia too if it's not too much work :)

votes = user_HP * country.eligible_voters / total_HP
Hmm, why are you multiplying the user's HP by the number of eligible voters in the country?
So I can divide by total HP.

I would think you would calculate it something like this:
weight_of_1_HP = 1 / total_HP
weight_of_1_vote_for_country = 1 / country.eligible_voters
weight_of_1_HP_for_country = weight_of_1_HP / weight_of_1_vote_for_country
account_HP_vote_weight_compared_to_country = account_HP * weight_of_1_HP_for_country

(1 / total_HP) / (1 / country.eligible_voters) = country.eligible_voters / total_HP
And is responsible for a lot less theft, murder, and destruction.

Only 47,000,000 eligible voters in the UK, is your data for all the other counties accurate?
The applet picked the UK for me, another interesting bit of code. It checks, and uses the US.., if it can't determine where you are.
I suspect you might see some 'simple sites' from me appearing in the future.
I have not checked the data for accuracy, what I saw seemed okay, but the list is AI generated, don't expect it to be correct and please report errors.

I like this little tool, but it compares two different voting systems. The idea is neat though for those who think better in the "one person one vote" system, to better understand their power on Hive governance.
I could say that for Brazil this is very fanciful LOL. I could be 1000 people, that supposedly a strange phenomenon would happen and the voter who has given money to receive votes wins. That's reality
