The journey has been challenging, but today, I'm thrilled to announce the beta version of our Hive-powered Jigsaw Puzzle game where you can solve solve puzzles, earn rewards, and build a community on the Hive Blockchain. The project utilizes HiveSigner for secure interactions.

Important note:
The project is currently deployed on Vercel, with the backend hosted on Render. Since this is a beta release, the final name of the project has not been decided yet. Major functionalities have been developed, with some still in progress. If you access the website and see no games or leaderboards, please try again in 3–5 minutes. Render puts the server to sleep after 15 minutes of inactivity, so it may take a moment to restart.
The Vision:
Earning crypto rewards through gaming is fun, but most of the games over the internet provide unfair advantages to certain players undermining the experience. Also, the chances of exploits are high since the bots are easier to make than ever. Our goal is to deliver a game that minimizes these issues and enhances the gaming experience. Jigsaw puzzles are perfect for this. They not only solve the problems mentioned but also offer brain stimulation, joy, and excitement.
Why Jigsaw Puzzles Can't Be Exploited
Typically, Jigsaw games are generated client side. Whatever is generated on the client-side cannot be trusted, and thus, can be exploited. This is where this project is different than the typical ones.
Here, all jigsaw puzzles are prepared server-side. Rewardable puzzles are uploaded daily and are valid for rewards for only 24 hours. Puzzle shapes are dynamically generated, ensuring that the game remains random and difficult for bots to exploit.
How It Works:
Solve Puzzles: Users can choose from various difficulty levels (coming soon) and solve jigsaw puzzles directly on the platform. Puzzles are labeled either "Play for Fun" or "Crypto Rewards." Only puzzles marked "Crypto Rewards" offer the option to proceed on the Hive blockchain.
Post Scores on the Hive Blockchain: Upon completing a puzzle, scores and completion times are recorded on the Hive blockchain, ensuring transparency, fairness, and proof of performance.
Get Rewarded: Based on the score and time taken to solve the puzzles, curators within the community determine how much each solver will be rewarded.
Curator-Driven Economy: The community of curators plays an essential role in assessing performance and fairly distributing rewards, creating a decentralized and community-driven reward system.
Leaderboard: Players who rank in the Top 20 on the leaderboard have a higher chance of earning more rewards, as curators tend to value top solvers.
Current Status:
- 90% Complete: The core functionality of the platform is built and fully operational on the Hive blockchain. Users can solve puzzles, and scores are successfully posted to the blockchain for review by curators.
- Live Demo Available: The project is deployed on Vercel, where potential users, investors, and partners can experience the functionality firsthand.
Future Vision:
Mobile App Development: We plan to expand this game to mobile platforms (iOS and Android) to reach a broader audience and make puzzle-solving more accessible on the go.
More Difficulty Levels: We will introduce new puzzle sizes (e.g., 7x7, 8x8, 9x9, 10x10) and competitive leaderboards.
Filters & Pagination: Currently, the platform's functionality is basic. Features like filters and pagination will allow users to easily find games with crypto rewards or those intended for fun/practice.
Design Improvements: Significant improvements to design and UX are on the roadmap.
User Feedback: As more users engage with the app, we look forward to your feedback and ideas for further development.

Sending Hive/HBD directly to @princewahaj: As you've seen the current development, since you all are into this tech stuff, I'm sure you understand what it is costing me. The minimum salary of a Sr. Full Stack Developer is around $8,000. As you can see, this development took far more than that. First I had to go through the design phase, then backend development, then frontend, then the UX and and security aspects to keep everything isolated. You can support by directly supporting this project with your liquid rewards that might help me continue working on this project.

I've completed this one, and it simply tells me that a piece is missing.
Thanks for trying it out. I've had this issue a couple of days back, and couldn't reproduce since then. Tried several times after that and everything seemed to work fine. I'll try debugging it more to figure this out.
You can play it again and hopefully it won't cause any trouble. @coconut user played this one and it worked fine for him.

Yes, it is active to receive rewards. But only the games marked as "Crypto Rewards" will take your score to the Hive Blockchain. Rest of them are either for practice or fun. You can take screenshots and post your practice results but it won't officially be posted through our app, and such puzzle games won't show up in leaderboards either.
The one you solved above was marked as "Play for fun". Puzzles that are eligible for crypto rewards are updated daily, and valid for 24 hours. After that they become available for practice or as play for fun.
