somewhere between 2 hours and 24 hours at most.
I will say 24 hour , because I guess there are so many like me that come daily to platform but not in every 2 hours.(everyone has a job to do) checking at every 2 hour is not feasible at all. Give more power to daily users in turn they will give more power to hive.

Yes, but I don't see the need for everyone to "get in early" on every good post that is created. There just needs to be sufficient good posts for them to vote on during the time they are curating that are still in the two hour window.
Making the window shorter means that people will have to do a little digging through the new posts that have been created, instead of just upvoting the trending posts to maximize their rewards.
