Clive Updates - CLI show chain and TUI accounts management (known, watched, working accounts)

in HiveDevs7 months ago

The new release contains new functionalities that make using Clive easier and more user-friendly. Using the TUI (text-based user interface) a user can now define watched accounts additionally tracked on the Dashboard. A user can also change or remove a working account. Additionally, we added a new view that allows you to manage known accounts. We have done a review of TUI and are correcting some visual or functional inconsistencies.
For CLI we added a new command that allows you to check basic information about the chain.

Accounts management

The Account Management section can be found in the Config. It is divided into three tabs: Watched accounts, Known accounts, and Working account.

Watched Accounts

The watched accounts are the accounts that are visible on the Dashboard, so you have easy and quick access to basic information about them. You can add up to 5 watched accounts.
Using the Watched accounts tab, you can add or remove a watched account.

Known Accounts

In our previous post, we wrote How Known accounts work. Here we added a new view that displays a list of currently stored Known accounts. You can also manage them by marking an account as known or removing an existing one from the list.

Working Account

The profile can have one working account configured.
If you have no working account, you cannot create any operations, but you can observe other accounts using the Watched accounts functionality.
You can set the working account during the onboarding process or afterward, using the Working account tab.
