Welcome this ain't no lazy Saturdays out here homie, We going hard in these streets, was a fairly busy day and I got a lot of stuff done and a lot of stuff happened, too much for one post really.
So lets talk about a neat little project I worked on today, that I am very happy about.
Right bellow is a picture of my old setup.
So when I first got a second ace unit (the 4 filament management system) I sacrificed a chair cutting off the side supports to use it as a stand for the second unit.
It was not the greatest set-up but it did the trick, well I wanted to take it up a notch and build a better shelf, there are some 3d printed version that are pretty elegant.
And use a wheel system to slide the unit from under to get access to the filament.
I was thinking of doing something like that but I wanted most of my shelf to be wooden, So I took some scrap wood I got a while ago and used to make many project already and I got to working, I was going to look into sorting out the roll out system with some more wood and some wheels and 3d printed parts a bit later
But I dun changed the game baby!

Let me introduce you to the MC3000 aka magic carpet 3000.
A revolutionary slide out system 🤣
A temporary fix turned out to be a fairly neat solution,
yet again something had to get sacrificed this time around it was a dollar store carpet I cut it down to size but now it is serving me as the MC3000 🤣
I am getting a lot of joy out of it, I love the look and how it matches my table and it was also neat working on it with some power tool cutting thing down putting them together and then sanding them down and rounding out edges, and then that carpet touch idea came out amazing.
