Yesterday, I had a network glitch and couldn't share my day with you. I'll do that right away.
On my way to work, I saw a very beautiful lady with a well-adorned makeover. It was so beautiful that I couldn't take my eyes off her.
Just as I was about to compliment her, a little boy ran past us and fell, spilling a part of his water on us.
Oh! I rushed to get the chap up so that his school uniform wouldn't become a mess from the runny water.
Suddenly, I heard a slap followed by a rain of abuse. As I lifted my head to see what was happening, it was the lady with the beautiful makeup I was admiring, scolding the little boy with hurt words.
I was pained by her reaction to that situation. Then it dawned on me that it is not enough to have our faces made up to admiration. Let our speeches carry grace.
When people admire our glamorous makeover, the words we speak should give them more reason to admire us more.
Are your words as beautiful as your makeup?
It's a peek into my day and I hope you've learned something.
