Welcome to Graturday Week Eighteen!🎉
So, last week was a little rough, and somehow, Saturday was the roughest of all seven days. As such, I ended up having to make this a Grunday. My apologies to all my regulars, I know some of you look out for the post to try to enter early, so this sort of thing throws you off somewhat.
As for any newcomers, here's what this giveaway is about: every Saturday (usually), I invite anyone who happens to stumble upon this post to share something they feel grateful for. Aside from getting the chance to express your gratitude, you could win one of the prizes.
What prizes?
🎁 1st Gratitude Comment gets 100 Ecency points
🎁 2nd Gratitude Comment gets 90 Ecency points
🎁 3rd Gratitude Comment gets 80 Ecency points
🎁 4th Gratitude Comment gets 70 Ecency points
🎁 5th Gratitude Comment gets 60 Ecency points
But why gratitude?
Because gratitude is great for you. Being grateful can yield all sorts of benefits, including:
- More restful sleep
- Better focus
- More patience
- Improved self-esteem
- More positive moods
- Stronger relationships
- (And many more)
And that's just from a scientific perspective. If you look at it in terms of the energy you put into the world and what you'd like to have returned to you, gratitude can encourage more good things to come your way. You don't have to believe it just because I (or anybody else) said so. Try it yourself with Graturday 😉. Here's how:
The Rules
- Leave a comment on this post about something you feel grateful for.
- Comments can be any length as long as they clearly convey what you feel grateful for.
- You can't pick everything or everyone, so narrow it down to something or someone specific.
- You can't give the same comment more than once in a month if you want your entry to be eligible for prizes. (But if you want to mention something multiple times per month alongside new things you feel grateful for, that's fine too.)
- You don't have to upvote or repost to enter, but if you do, just know that you have my gratitude for that.
- You have until next week's Graturday post goes up to enter for this week ⏳.
What am I grateful for this week?
I've been meaning to cut my hair for a while, and I finally did 🥳. I'm pretty sure my mother and sister will freak out when they eventually see it but it’s hair, it will grow back (better than ever if I play my cards right 😃) so in this case, change is good.
Alright, it's your turn! Please join in and let me know in the comments what you felt grateful for this past week.
Have a Great Graturday!

So, here we are again!
Last week I commented I wasn't feeling very well but that the headache was gone, little did I know it was the start of a crappy week where the flu kicked my butt the entire week, so, no work and A LOT of movies I watched 😅
Grateful I can resume normal life again!
Yeah, it definitely feels good to return to normalcy after a week like that 😃. Congrats, you commented first and won 100 Ecency points 🥳!
I am grateful that my cat was able to enjoy the food I gave
And I'm sure your cat feels grateful, too 😊. Congrats, you commented second and won 90 Ecency points 🥳!
I am grateful the warmer weather is finally coming this week. No more frigid temperatures.
