β€œWear gratitude like a cloak and it will feed every corner of your life.”–Rumi

Welcome to Graturday Week Twenty-Eight!πŸŽ‰

First off, I'd like to apologize to everyone who participated last week (all 5 of you!). I had some unexpected technical difficulties when I tried to deliver the prizes and while I did manage eventually, by then it was basically time for a whole new post. Here are those winners in order:

🌟 @hatdogsensei 🌟 🌟 @artofkylin 🌟 🌟 @nozem01 🌟 🌟 @lecia89 🌟 🌟 @ronnie10 🌟

(If you prefer not to be tagged, just let me know)

If this is your first time here, this is what this giveaway is about: every Saturday (unless I'm late enough for it to be Sunday, like today πŸ˜…) I invite anyone who happens to stumble upon this post to share something they feel grateful for. Aside from getting the chance to express your gratitude, you could win one of the prizes.

What prizes?

🎁 1st Gratitude Comment gets 100 Ecency points
🎁 2nd Gratitude Comment gets 90 Ecency points
🎁 3rd Gratitude Comment gets 80 Ecency points
🎁 4th Gratitude Comment gets 70 Ecency points
🎁 5th Gratitude Comment gets 60 Ecency points

But why gratitude?

Because gratitude is great for you. Being grateful can yield all sorts of benefits including:

  • More restful sleep
  • Better focus
  • More patience
  • Improved self-esteem
  • More positive moods
  • Stronger relationships
  • (And many more)

And that's just from a scientific perspective. If you look at it in terms of the energy you put into the world and what you'd like to have returned to you, gratitude can encourage more good things to come your way. You don't have to believe it just because I (or anybody else) said so. Try it yourself with Graturday πŸ˜‰. Here's how:

The Rules

  1. Leave a comment on this post about something you feel grateful for.
  2. Comments can be any length as long as they clearly convey what you feel grateful for.
  3. You can't pick everything or everyone, so narrow it down to something or someone specific.
  4. You can't give the same comment more than once in a month if you want your entry to be eligible for prizes. (But if you want to mention something multiple times per month alongside new things you feel grateful for, that's fine too.)
  5. You don't have to upvote or repost to enter, but if you do, just know that you have my gratitude for that.
  6. You have until next week's Graturday post goes up to enter for this week ⏳.

What am I grateful for this week?

I am grateful that I eventually managed to get those prizes out even if it bloody well took FOREVER! At one point I really was wondering if I would need to pick other prizes or something but I think I have it sorted out for good now. At least I sincerely hope so! If I've made any errors, feel free to let me know and I'll sort them out.

Okay, now it's your turn! Please join in and let me know in the comments what you felt grateful for this past week.

Have a Great Graturday/Grunday!

I am grateful that I had the time to write a lot of posts this week. I just need to prepare them and post one each day to make it more organized and consistent.

The weather is still nice to go outside, so I am grateful for that too..

Thanks for the mention & have a nice day!

Awesome, I'm working on writing more posts too πŸ‘ Congrats on being first this time πŸ₯³!

You are..? That's cool. I guess, I will see your username more often then =P

🎁

Oh, I won the 100 pts..? That's really nice.. It help me realize my target of 1,000 points faster =D

If that's your goal Graturday can definitely help, good luck with that! πŸ€πŸ‘

Well, I say it is a goal.. But, it is not something that I check regularly.. I am just trying to reach there without consistent checking on the amount that I have on daily basis.

But, this was a really good boost! Thanks,

No problem πŸ‘πŸ‘

I'm grateful @cherokee4life shared the freecash app with me and now we can both earn to buy more splinterlands stuff with 😁

Cool, is the cash really free?? And congrats on coming second πŸ₯³!

Thnx! Well if you don't count the time you need to play it is πŸ˜…

If it's fun that's not so bad πŸ˜‚

Hello, community, happy afternoon to everyone.
I thank the Eternal, the universe and life, for being able to be useful and to be able to help the elderly people who live alone in my building.
Being able to help, listen and spend some time with the elderly is something that I am very grateful for, because I know how important it is for these people not to feel alone, and to be helped.
I really appreciate that, having the opportunity to help and serve others.
