Did you know time can never be recovered? Oh, you already did. You have heard a couple of times that time waits for one and time is money so do not waste it.
But did you also know that sometimes waiting is not wasting time? Instead, waiting gives you control. When you allow society to tell you time is short, use it well and you succumb to the fear, you are on the losing end.
If you research the concept of time, you will realize that it is something humans created to make life bearable. It wasn't created to make you hurry around, making blunders and regretting your decisions.
Did you ever consider why every time you read about rich people, they always seem to have time and compounding interest work in their favor yet on your own end, it always seems as though you have less time? Don't you ever wonder how they seem to have enough time to build while you don't?
When you stop. Pause. And wait. There are lots of things that your eyes will open up to. When you are not in a hurry, you are in an advantaged position.
Although there are three kinds of time, this post will only focus on one. The long one.
Every time you allow yourself to wait it out, you are unlocking the long time. You do this to give you a sense of control. You are not in a hurry. You tell yourself the things you want will come to you in due time. You do not allow anyone to use fear to make you shorten your time for you. You are in control.
Honestly, when you wait it out, you give yourself the chance to find opportunities lying around to grab. If you had a sense of urgency you will miss it. Why? You'd probably moved too fast while the opportunity lay behind you.
When you move too fast it's easy to be used. You can easily get lured into things that will damage you and reduce your time frame. You have less flexibility.
Allow yourself to calm down. Relax. Deal with one thing after another instead of hurrying around trying to do them all at once.
If there's anything you should learn from those wealthy people we talked about above, it's the fact that the foundation of their riches took years to build and you can do it too.
Since this type of foundation took years, you can rest assured that it is secured. It wasn't a half-ass job if it lasted that long. There had to be a painstaking amount of commitment and patience thrown into that.
Did you really think the patient dog stopped getting the fattest bone? No!
The good things will come to you and when they do you might feel unworthy but you shouldn't. You deserve all the good things in life. And if they come after a long time, you should allow yourself to cherish and enjoy them. Do not be afraid or ashamed. They are yours for the taking.
