Here's a rudimentary explanation of how HSBI works. It's a bit complicated once you start going into the mechanics.

What is the usual delay for getting the HSBI? I'm excited to get some. :D
Lately we've been sending it out about once per month. I usually trade Hive / HBD to increase our liquidity, and when the trade comes through, I have our curator / rewarder sent it off.
