Busy Transitional Day!

Again this .gif? Holy moly, we really are stuck in Groundhog Day.

Well, hopefully this is going to be the last one. I completed my COVID quarantine (did not drink any quarantinis) and completed my last night shift - for now. Hopefully I won't be covering any more of them for the remainder of this year, which ends in late June.

Finished work this morning, got clearance for my job, then went home, completed a few Hive tasks, and went to sleep for less than 3 hours. It's a busy day with a lot of plans since I'm coming back to work tomorrow, leaving me limited time to get things done!

I posted a brief to-do list on Threads right here.

Fortunately, the groceries aren't needed today, but another situation came up: one of my colleagues from last night asked if I could cover his Thursday and Friday floor shifts (for me, floors = 🤢 🤮) . This was for a conference which he knew about well in advance, thus should have asked people weeks ago, not at the last minute. Well, I've been covering shifts for several months, so this time I said I'm just not able to do it - I have to leave a little bit early those days, and it's not compatible with my schedule. I asked my colleague to search for someone else and get back to me if he's not able to find anyone (my biggest mistake!).

He never got back to me. Today, I found out from our upcoming chief that supposedly I am scheduled to cover those Thursday and Friday shifts. I told him that I never agreed to cover those shifts, and that I'd have to leave early on those days. This started a whole time-wasting routine between the chief, the person who asked me to cover, and myself. There's still no clear resolution, and I'm going to speak to the chief in person tomorrow, although most likely I will be covering the shifts. If I'm not going to be able to leave these shifts early, then I'm simply going to have to reject taking them. I've already covered enough, and I have to take care of my own personal things. Let someone else cover for a change!

Anyway, the rest of this evening is going to be finishing my extensive self-grooming (I do tend to spend far too much time on this, but it's pretty much one of the few things that makes me feel like a functional human being these days), stretch/meditation, and a small number of Hive things.

Tomorrow we begin our electives again (these are typically subspecialties of medicine with lighter work hours for residents, i.e. 8 - 4 p.m.), and it's actually going to be my first elective since July. Going 8 months without an elective is a very long time. So I'm going to spend several hours there, talk with the chief, then head home not late!

Hopefully I won't be getting called to cover after Thursday/Friday. I've seriously had enough of it. There are plenty of other residents who haven't pulled their weight, and it's time that they become a little bit more reliable. I have to put myself first.

The to-do list is huge for today. I think it is nice having a to-do list. I personally, rarely do it. Do you have one for each day?

Not all days, but I've started creating one for a lot of days. It's definitely helpful with keeping accountability.

Glad to have you visit my blog, @acidyo. Feel free to say hi as you swing by.

I'm sure you know what it's about so didn't feel necessary to leave an explanation.

Make sure to do the same thing with your own posts and the posts of your colleagues, which earn $30+ apiece primarily from autovotes quality cast aside. Fair is fair, right?

Have a nice day.

Autovotes are fine, I'm not paying the stakeholders to target me with their autovotes. Do continue to avoid the issue at hand but I'll stop wasting my time at this point giving you more attention.

By the way, I don't care much that you downvote me, but attacking the self-funded community account is very low, even for you. Most of the rewards come from HSBI shared with community members. Shame on you.

I don't know what self-funded means, it's delegating out stake and receiving votes based on that, that goes against curation so it should be treated the same. It also isn't giving anyone any beneficiaries even though at the end of the post it says it would. Same goes for that curation account where you only give the curator 10% post beneficiaries, that's also considered abuse as you take 90% yourself.

I don't take any for myself, these are funds that I gave for the community. My intention was to keep it there so the community could grow and support its members. I also support the curator with monthly HSBI payments, along with the 10% beneficiary rewards.

I discussed all delegations with my community, and they were all on board with the way I have been running the account. All community decisions are run by our members before I implement them.

You still haven't taken the time to actually read the post I wrote, but you start attacking. I'm trying to help build and create, and you're on a path to destroy. You claim that you want to help Hive, but you're doing the opposite.

Again, shame on you.

HSBI in and of itself is selling votes, that's not a valid form of rewarding your community members when you could just curate them like everyone else does. It's not my fault if you're going way above and beyond to complicate your own activities by including vote selling schemes and expect others to know where you're coming from. Miss me with the "shame on you" shit, I'm here building value for stakeholders for years while staying true to curation by fighting off any and all schemes people have come up with over the years to mostly enrich themselves. Saying you're just doing it to build up your account to support the community is worthless since you own the stake and could just go silent tomorrow and fuck off with it.

Love to see a little bit of self-flagellation in the morning. Egos destroy, and that's exactly what you're doing, despite what you may think. I'm one of the few people that's actually trying to build something on Hive - something meaningful - and you choose to attack because of selfishness. Congratulations on being one of the lucky few to be early enough on Hive to be able to get a bulk of the rewards. I hope you're happy with selling your soul now.

I'll be making an announcement to the community tonight. I've been respectful to you, but since you now choose to attack the community, this time I will not mince words.

@josephsavage you should be aware that acidyo appears intent on attacking people who use HSBI. I thought Hive was past this, but alas, some people are intent on destroying instead of building.
