While I have to agree that he doesn't reply to comments on his posts, that doesn't in itself diminish the content of the post itself - which, to my knowledge, is original, not copied, not AI-generated, etc. It's still original work.
I don't think it's within HW's purview to judge how someone interacts with his audience. It is, of course, to his benefit to do so, but that shouldn't be the criteria for judging the content within the post itself. I strongly believe that's stepping outside of the boundary.
Good thing I don't qualify to work at hw's, then.
The crowd here likes more authentic content, this content is totally generic.
We want to reward people that want to be one of us, not lecture us with some bland bs.
Agreed, and I do try to encourage lively content as well. It does engage me more, and I certainly try to write in my specific voice myself. I have none other lol!
I try to not discount different styles, however. Generic styles have an interesting way of being useful for search engine optimization, so there's definitely a place for it on a social media platform.
