Just realized my kitty’s spirit is not shy,
She walked over, jumped on the bed,
Sniffed my mouth, winked a green eye,
Kneaded my arm, making the bread.
She purred that where she was it was colder,
She wants to lie down close by my side,
Circling once, plopped her head on my shoulder,
Waiting for gentle hand to inspect her ears and eyes,
I scratched her chin a bunch, then again,
Her ears and tummy, she purred and snored
I said, “Feebi, where have you been?”
“Grooming in my office same as before.”
Then it flashed in my head what must be
Feebi embodies a spirit, a blood spirit,
All this time I thought it was an allergy
How could I have not perceived it
You see for centuries many have thought
Our emotions differ from animal emotions,
In capacity to enjoy what humans sought,
But people have proven purely vain notions,
As so many humans are all about vanity
Self-perpetuation, self-gratification, and self-maintenance
In Feebi’s world you are her unclouded property
And she is willing to ignore your fugaciousness.
