Obsoleter

My next YouTube shorts story was borne from the premise what can trump bitcoin?

Before I really thought XRP had the potential as the use case of XRP can truly make the current system of sending remittances obsolete if the banks were to adopt the system. But then the problem of being too centralized kind of like made XRP an antithesis to what a blockchain is--being decentralized.

Then I thought Tezos solves the problem of blockchain forking with the introduction of proof of stake but I don't know why developers still cling to the high gas fees of Ethereum.

But that was then. Now I am thinking that all technology including blockchain can be made obsolete when something better in the future comes out. For now all I could think of is if all the governments agree to adopt one blockchain, that could really make us say goodbye to all the current cryptocurrencies we are using.

Imagine fiat will be officially be obsolete. All banks will use it, companies will pay everyone with that unified cryptocoin as salaries.

Well, this is just my imagination running wild. Hope you like the video.
