On the 7th day, God created man(Adam and Eve). Adam and Eve were enjoying life in the Garden of Eden especially playing with lions, tigers, leopards, panthers because of their natural regalness and playful nature.
However, they both find the big cats just a bit too much to play with because the claws and fangs have caused them quite some accidental injuries.
Mind you, in the Garden, all animals can talk. After doing some thinking, Adam and Eve decided to request to the Lord if a smaller version of the lions, leopards, and panthers can be created by God as the big cats are just too much for them to play with.
God obliged them as He Himself are fond of the cats. Thats why he made the lion the King of all land animals.
Adam and Eve can't stop fawning over the mini cats. The cats are just the right companions for them anywhere in the Garden. Eve especially like the black panther, and so they becMe inseparable.
One day while collecting berries the black cat crossed Eve to warn her not to proceed wherever she was going to because she sensed danger.
Eve said, "We are in the Garden of Eden, how can we be in danger?"
Then a golden snake slithered and talked to Eve. Ms. Eve, can you help me get one fruit from that tree? I need that fruit so my scales can glow and shimmer like the sun."
Eve said, "I can't. We are not allowed to touch that tree."
The black cat echoed what Eve just said, "Yes, that tree is forbidden. We cannot disobey the Lord."
The snake said, "Look, I know it's forbidden for you, but not me. I'm just asking you to get one for me. Do you think God will get mad at you for helping a limbless creature?"
"Okay, I don't see any harm in that." said Eve.
Sensing Eve won't listen to her, she bolted and run and tried to find Adam to stop Eve.
But they were too late. When they saw Eve she was glowing like the snake.
Adam was captivated by Eve's appearance. Then Eve suddenly put the fruit in his mouth for a bite. Adam was under Eve's spell so he took a bite. The cat rub Adam's leg and dispelled Eve's enchantment. Adam then commanded the fruit to stop on his throat. A limp formed on Adam's throat because of that.
But Adam loves Eve so much so when they faced God and told what happened, God decreed that Eve should leave Eden. Adam cannot leave Eve alone so he also made a decision to leave the Garden.
When God and the black cat was alone, God sighed and told the cat, "Black kitty, I have a task for you. I will give you an ability to appear before them and their descendants whenever they are in danger. The outside world will be harsh and they will need assistance or else they won't survive out there."
From that day on, Adam and Eve would always see their cat whenever tragedy is about to strike and lived long lives.
