Wants and Needs

Sometimes what we want is not what we need, while our needs(most times) are not what we want.

Life would've been better for each and every living being if we all place our focus on the important, simple and mundane stuffs. Like eating, drinking, waking up and sleeping again. There are a lot of simple activities that we don't even care to enjoy or see any benefits in them.

Just being able to love and be loved back could be one of the greatest magic that could ever happen to anyone.

Instead we all seems to sought after riches and rare gems just so we could stand out not knowing it really doesn't matter in the end if all you want is to be better than everyone when you are not trying to become a better person yourself.

Focusing on things that looks shinny, extravagant and complicated just to feel better about ourselves seems to be the trend these days which is really scary to even think about due to how much damage this has done to a lot of people.

But people will still be people

And no one wants to be left out or counted out

But does it really matter if you're the best or not?

Honestly, I once thought life was all about being the best or about bitching about bullshit that's really non fulfilling in reality. If I could count how much menace and chaos that running after the unimportant and shinny stuffs has caused I'll say it's uncontable because it happens every seconds and every minute we desire things that we know we don't really need.

Ever ask yourself what you need?

Or want?

The reason why the 1% of the population have billions and trillions of dollars, and thousands of mansion and properties and the 99% are poor and penniless is due to how we've all focused on besting each other when we can't even conquer ourself and detach ourself from our hideous desires and wants.

In my own view what I think the 99% want is just food and a place to lay their head at night.

But this is what many of us focus our attention on . Instead, we just want to be at the top just to feel better about ourselves. Which for me, is really exhausting to even think about. But what do I even know, I'm just rambling around my tinny brain.

Nonetheless, I still believe what made the world a wild and scary place to live is because we all seems to be racing against each other instead of racing against ourselves and not someone else. Because other people's needs are not ours since we are all unique and different from one another in every possible way.

In short, what majority want these days is what you have, which isn't their fault because deep down I think they themselves don't even know their own wants and needs.

To be honest, I can go on and on about countless ways we all like to indirectly compete against each other all day, but we all know the truth, which is to try as much as possible to become a better person than we were yesterday and that is only attainable if we decide to love ourself and only race against our (old)self.

What you need from another human most times is just to love and to be loved.
