Thanks to @kenny-crane for his amazing and fast customer service. I had been meaning to try this game and finally did today. My only regret is that I didn't try it sooner. It's the newest play to earn game on Hive and it's certifiably awesome. Feels good Man.
The game involves NFT card packs filled with frogs who battle each other. Each pack costs $0.5 (500 Volts) and they are filled with three cards each. You buy in-game currency and can stake it for 15% APR as well. The game involves battles between teams of frogs, and the gameplay is seamless. I like the sound effects, and cannot wait to level up my squad soon.
I got an epic frog and some rares as well. I plan on investing at least 10 HBD this week, and love the gameplay. This is an awesome addition to the Hive Blockchain games, and I plan on being a part of history. I will be staking more Volts and buying packs. Alpha packs are on sale, so don't be late and miss out.

I see you're playing on a phone or mobile device. That does work but the game looks better on a laptop or computer. Especially the actual battles. And as we've been talking about elsewhere, there may be an issue with the system realizing that you have sent in HBD for the in-game VOLTs when using a mobile.
So anyone reading this, your VOLTs should show up within 5 minutes of sending HBD, and if they do NOT, @ me @kenny-crane please so I can follow up on any issues.

It may have happened again. Sent 1.28 HBD and have not received VOLTS. Please help @peptoken @kenny-crane you guys are awesome.

I see you did sent the HBD and I see that it did not register in the game. I manually sent you 1300 VOLTs, rounding up a little from the 1280 :)
So I do think it may be happening because of the mobile keychain app which I assume is how you are agreeing to the HBD transfer on your phone. I'll have to install it on my phone and see if I can spot the issue. Until it is fixed, either use the computer version keychain browser extension or continue to let me know on here if you send HBD and you don't get the VOLTs and I'll do it manually, which could take a little time. Sorry it took me almost a day to notice this! Yesterday was a Maint day and I got busy with that.

Yes, it is important to understand what the cards are.
They are Non-Fungible Tokens because they are digital things with their own serial numbers and properties which make them non-interchangeable.
They live in a database but the database is centralized on one server. So it is not on HIVE or any other blockchain - which is also a database but decentralized.
The cards act like some NFT game cards or real life game cards people are familiar with, but as I said, where they are stored is different. PEPE Game is just a web game that hopes to provide card battling fun, pack opening excitement, pack and card markets - similar to familiar trading card games. The tie-in with HIVE is the peg of HBD to our in-game token. And of course we blog here!
But again, it is just a game, and is for entertainment purposes only. Enjoy it in the moment. We plan to be here for a long time but no one makes promises. And we have all seen promises get broken anyway :D
