Splinterlands Season Wrap-Up: Wins, Losses, and Epic Drops!

in FreeCompliments5 days ago (edited)

Greetings, Splinterlands Warriors!
Back again with another Splinterlands weekly challenge post! This time, I want to share a little story about my achievements in the previous season. Even though things didn’t always go smoothly, there were some surprises that made this season exciting to talk about.

So, I managed to reach Diamond III tier—something quite satisfying for me, considering how tough the competition has become. But, as always, at the end of the season, I had to drop back to Gold II. Sometimes, maintaining a position is harder than reaching it, right? Even so, there’s always a silver lining, as I still got some decent rewards.

With 35,000 Glint collected, I went all in at Gwen's Glint Shop to open 35 Major Chests. This moment is always the most thrilling part of the season finale. As usual, there's a big hope for amazing cards, but also the risk of getting something ordinary. And here’s the result!

I managed to collect eight different cards from the openings. Unfortunately, out of those eight, only one was an EPIC, and even worse—no LEGENDARY cards at all. Despite that, I’m still grateful because there was another big win: enough merits to open two Gladius packs.

For those who love battling in guild brawls, you know just how valuable Gladius cards can be!

Here’s a link - feel free to experience the thrill with me:

Reflections and Lessons from This Season

If there’s one lesson I can take from this season, it’s that it’s not always about the highest tier, but rather how well we utilize our resources. I may have dropped to Gold II, but with 35 Major Chests and extra merits, I was still able to strengthen my card collection. Sometimes, luck in chest openings can have a bigger impact than simply holding onto a higher league position.

From a strategic perspective, this season also made me realize that I need to be more focused when deciding which cards to upgrade. I often get tempted to level up cards randomly without considering the overall synergy of my team. Moving forward, I’ll be more selective in choosing cards that truly make a significant impact in battles.

And that’s my update for this week’s Splinterlands social media challenge. How was your season? Any surprises or new strategies you tried? Share your stories too—maybe we can exchange tips and tricks for the next season!

See you on the battlefield! 🔥
