Hello, fellow landlords of Splinterlands! How are you approaching this LAND update? Are you excited about it?

As a landlord in Splinterlands, every update is something I eagerly anticipate. The upcoming Land 1.75 update, scheduled for release on March 18, 2025, introduces significant changes, especially with the introduction of new resources like Wood, Stone, and Iron.

For me, this update isn’t just about new features—it’s a new challenge that requires me to adjust my land management and production strategies. With all these changes, how should I prepare my land in Tridale (048), Land of Prosperity, to remain productive and profitable?

My Land Before and After the Update

My land is located in Tridale (048), classified as a forest-type with common rarity. Before the update, this land primarily produced Grain with a production capacity of 30,902 per hour. However, with the changes brought by Land 1.75, I expect the main production to shift from Grain to Wood, aligning with the forest type of my land. This means I need to adjust my production strategy to remain efficient.

One key aspect I need to reconsider is my choice of worker monsters. Previously, I didn’t pay much attention to the elements of my monsters, but now, I must ensure that the monsters assigned to my land have elements that match the land type. In my case, Life and Earth elements will be the primary choices, as they are more efficient for production in forest-type land.

Challenges in Adjusting Production

One of the biggest challenges I face is predicting how these changes will impact the in-game economy. With three new resources being introduced, I need to understand how the demand and pricing for each resource will fluctuate in the market.

Another challenge is finding suitable monsters. As a player who relies more on renting cards rather than owning an extensive collection, I must start searching for Life or Earth element monsters with high production potential. This means I need to allocate more DEC for renting the right monsters.

What surprised me the most was the introduction of the Liquidity Pool (LP) system for the new resources. With this system, players can directly trade resources using DEC, while liquidity providers earn a share of the transaction fees. This creates new opportunities for players looking to leverage the Splinterlands economy for greater profits.

Additionally, this system could help stabilize resource prices in the market, reducing concerns about extreme price fluctuations. However, it also means I need to learn more about how LP works to take full advantage of it.

My Strategy for the Update

To prepare for Land 1.75, I have developed several strategic steps:

  1. Adjusting Worker Monsters – I am looking for Life and Earth element monsters with high production potential to maximize my land’s output.
  2. Accumulating DEC for LP – With the introduction of the Liquidity Pool, I plan to set aside some DEC to participate in LP and earn passive income from transaction fees.
  3. Monitoring Market Trends – I will closely watch how the prices of new resources fluctuate after the update. If there’s an opportunity to acquire resources at a low cost, I can purchase them early before prices increase.

Lessons from This Update

From my experience preparing for Land 1.75, I’ve learned several key lessons:

  • Flexibility is Key – In an economy-driven game like Splinterlands, a successful strategy today can become obsolete tomorrow. Players must be ready to adapt to changes.
  • Information is the Best Weapon – Understanding how new systems work and staying informed through the community can help players anticipate changes and make smarter decisions.
  • Diversifying Income Streams – With the introduction of the Liquidity Pool, players now have more ways to generate profits beyond battles and resource production.

Support for New Players

For those just starting their land management journey in Splinterlands, these changes might seem overwhelming. However, here are a few simple steps to help you get started:

  • Understand your land type and the resources it will produce.
  • Ensure your worker monsters match the appropriate elements.
  • Engage with the community through forums and Discord to get valuable insights and strategies.
  • If you have enough DEC, consider participating in the Liquidity Pool.

Conclusion: Embracing a New Challenge

The Land 1.75 update brings significant changes to Splinterlands, but it also opens up new opportunities for players who are ready to adapt. With the right strategy—whether in selecting worker monsters, managing resources, or participating in the Liquidity Pool—players can maximize their benefits from this update.

Personally, I am very excited to see how Splinterlands’ economy evolves after this update. Will these changes create a more stable market, or will they introduce new, more complex challenges? One thing is certain—I’m ready to explore it alongside the Splinterlands community!
