Hello everyone!
Today I decided it would be great to join the Saturday savers initiative. For those of you who don't know how it works, I'll briefly explain what the purpose is. The goal is to keep track of your savings as it's easier to achieve your goals if you are able to follow up on them closely. As I've explained in one of my previous posts that I want to achieve 5k Hive Power by years end, I figured out, it would be great to keep track of the path towards it. So, let's go!
Hive Power
As stated before, growing my stack of Hive Power is my main target. I recently explained in a comment to another post that I think Hive is already rather small in terms of total marketcap on the one hand and on active users on the other hand. If you than go for second layer tokens, than the population being involved is even smaller so risks are bigger. Potential rewards probably too but for me the risk-reward relation isn't okay. Thus, Hive it is. As the price of Hive is relatively low for the moment, I'll keep growing my stack and staking it. That way, I will be able to grow my influence on the chain and I will be able to hand out bigger upvotes.
I believe that when I am able to hand out bigger upvotes, people will check out my blog faster. I have the impression that people tend to engage more with others who have a bigger upvote compared to people who have a rather small stack of Hive Power. This is definitely not an exact science and merely an impression of mine. We'll see if I will be able to grow my account faster as my Hive Power grows as well.

That means I still need to get 2.258 Hive Power. With 42 weeks left, that gives us an average target of about 53 Hive Power I will need every week or in other words, I would need to receive rewards being worth $26 a week of which half would go to me and half would go to the curators. If I put it that way, I think 5.000 Hive Power will definitely be a challenge, but hey, I will try to go for it!
HSBI
I don't really have secondary goals but HSBI is one worth mentioning as I like the mechanism of a passive income. Isn't it what we all dream of? Ofcourse it's not completely passive as we need to keep posting on Hive but still. I will just keep track of my current amount as I don't have a goal. I guess it will grow with 2 units a week, so step by step it should increase.

Conclusion
The 5.000 Hive Power seems doable but I will need to be consistent and stay the course. We'll see how far I will be able to go. I think it's great to keep track of my progress anyway.
