Pain overflows from my eyes like wine
It clings to my soul like fragrant sandalwood
The flame that burns my dream
It acts like a friend, pouring embers on me,
It says it is the life-giver of the downtrodden
The necklace of tears on the heart shines like a diamond
When will sorrow come, to put a garland on me
I pass the night like a sentinel, I wake up the sorrowful dew
By spilling the pain of my glance
It dissolves in the tears of the evening like an eye-liner
It spreads from the earth to the sky like a dirty sheet
I have never seen those feet with these eyes,
But I know the sound of their footsteps
For years I have been washing them,
Rubbing them with my tears
I am restless with happiness, burdened with sorrow
In the pathless darkness of the nights, it burns full of love,
It shines in the eyes like stars,
it never creates any obstacle in my path, rather it spreads its fragrance in the opposite direction and guides me towards the path of death
My ever-familiar loneliness lives in me, embracing my moist hair, painted by my shadow
In the lap of intense pain,
darkness comes to take care of me,
making dust, thorns, and sarcastic flowers bloom on both banks of my river of life, leaving an indelible image
The world is shrinking into fog,
I cannot see what lies ahead,
I only know that the kingdom of my sorrow is endless, like the still sky
