Dans cette même petite ville, alors que les jours passaient et que les nuits glaciales s’éternisaient, le mystère du Livreur s’approfondissait. Chaque nouvelle apparition ou murmure autour de sa table laissait derrière elle un sentiment d’inquiétude et de fascination. Mais un jour, un événement changea le cours de cette légende.

Une nouvelle venue
Un soir, alors que le café était étrangement calme, une femme vêtue d’un long manteau de laine gris entra. Ses cheveux noirs étaient parsemés de flocons, et ses yeux brillaient comme s'ils cachaient mille vérités. Elle s’approcha de la table du Livreur, désormais vide depuis des semaines, et s’assit sans un mot.

Les habitués la regardèrent avec curiosité. Certains chuchotèrent qu’elle était une journaliste à la recherche du Livreur, d’autres murmuraient qu’elle était là pour le remplacer. Mais la femme ne prêtait attention à personne. Elle sortit un carnet de cuir noir, l’ouvrit lentement et y inscrivit quelque chose. Puis, elle posa le carnet sur la table et attendit.

Les premiers signes
Cette nuit-là, le café ferma plus tôt que d’habitude. Les habitants remarquèrent cependant que la silhouette de la femme restait immobile à travers les vitres givrées, éclairée par la lumière vacillante des chandeliers. Le lendemain matin, le carnet n’était plus sur la table, et la femme avait disparu. Mais, dans le silence du café désert, une pile d’enveloppes scellées se trouvait à l’endroit précis où elle s’était assise.

Les propriétaires du café, hésitant entre peur et curiosité, ouvrirent une des enveloppes. À l’intérieur, une simple phrase manuscrite :
"Le silence est aussi une arme."

Les ombres se réveillent
Dans les jours qui suivirent, une agitation inhabituelle s’empara de la petite ville. Ceux qui avaient osé ouvrir les enveloppes furent frappés par des révélations intimes ou des avertissements cryptiques, comme si la vérité les poursuivait. Les rumeurs devinrent incontrôlables : la femme aurait repris l’œuvre du Livreur, ou pire encore, elle serait là pour surveiller ceux qui cherchaient à manipuler ses secrets.

Mais le plus étrange restait à venir. Des clients du café, assis à cette fameuse table, commencèrent à rapporter des phénomènes étranges. Ils disaient sentir une présence, comme si quelqu’un lisait par-dessus leur épaule ou observait leurs moindres gestes. Les murs du café, autrefois accueillants, semblaient vibrer d’une énergie froide, presque oppressante.

Une nouvelle légende naît
Un soir, alors qu’une tempête de neige enveloppait la ville, un homme, visiblement nerveux, pénétra dans le café. Il s’installa à la table et glissa une enveloppe sous une tasse vide. Quelques minutes plus tard, il quitta les lieux précipitamment. Le lendemain matin, les propriétaires retrouvèrent une réponse inscrite directement sur la table en bois, gravée comme par magie :
"Ton secret ne t’appartient plus."

La table fut rapidement retirée et brûlée, mais la peur s’était déjà installée dans les esprits. Plus personne n’osa s’asseoir à cet endroit. Les habitants évitèrent désormais le café après la tombée de la nuit, et la légende du Livreur s’enrichit d’un nouvel acteur : la Femme aux flocons.

On dit qu’elle erre dans les rues enneigées, son carnet toujours à portée de main, notant des vérités qu’elle ne révélera qu’à ceux qui osent en payer le prix. Mais ceux qui la rencontrent sont prévenus : certains secrets ne doivent jamais être dévoilés, car ce n’est pas toujours l’ignorance qui est la plus grande des malédictions, mais la connaissance entre de mauvaises mains.

A New Arrival
One evening, as the café was unusually quiet, a woman dressed in a long grey wool coat entered. Her black hair was speckled with snowflakes, and her eyes gleamed as if they held a thousand truths. She approached the Delivery Man’s table, now empty for weeks, and sat down without a word.

The regulars watched her with curiosity. Some whispered she was a journalist searching for the Delivery Man, others murmured she was there to replace him. But the woman paid no attention to anyone. She took out a black leather notebook, opened it slowly, and wrote something inside. Then, she placed the notebook on the table and waited.

The First Signs
That night, the café closed earlier than usual. However, the townspeople noticed that the woman’s silhouette remained motionless behind the frosted windows, illuminated by the flickering candlelight. The next morning, the notebook was no longer on the table, and the woman had disappeared. But, in the silence of the empty café, a stack of sealed envelopes was found exactly where she had sat.

The café owners, torn between fear and curiosity, opened one of the envelopes. Inside, a simple handwritten phrase:
"Silence is also a weapon."

The Shadows Wake
In the days that followed, an unusual agitation overtook the small town. Those who had dared to open the envelopes were struck by intimate revelations or cryptic warnings, as if the truth were chasing them. The rumors became uncontrollable: the woman had taken up the work of the Delivery Man, or worse, she was there to monitor those who sought to manipulate his secrets.

But the strangest was yet to come. Café patrons, sitting at that very table, began to report strange phenomena. They said they could feel a presence, as if someone were reading over their shoulder or watching their every move. The café’s walls, once welcoming, seemed to vibrate with a cold, almost oppressive energy.

A New Legend is Born
One evening, as a snowstorm enveloped the town, a man, visibly nervous, entered the café. He sat at the table and slipped an envelope under an empty cup. A few minutes later, he left the premises hurriedly. The next morning, the owners found a response written directly on the wooden table, etched as if by magic:
"Your secret no longer belongs to you."

The table was quickly removed and burned, but the fear had already taken root in people’s minds. No one dared to sit at that spot anymore. The townspeople now avoided the café after nightfall, and the legend of the Delivery Man grew with a new character: the Woman with Snowflakes.

It is said that she wanders the snow-covered streets, her notebook always within reach, writing truths she will reveal only to those who dare to pay the price. But those who encounter her are warned: some secrets should never be unveiled, for it is not always ignorance that is the greatest curse, but knowledge in the wrong hands.
