The golden seal shattered in a burst of blinding light. A deep rumble echoed through the underground chamber, shaking the ancient fresco-covered walls. Lucien felt warmth flood his body, as if history itself was seeping into him, merging past, present, and future into a single, undeniable truth.

The walls came to life.

The engraved shadows stirred under his astonished gaze, retracing the origins of the Kingdom of Secrets. He saw Eldrin the Wise in his laboratory, mixing gold and mercury powders under the pale glow of an unseen moon. He watched him forge the first enchanted coins, imbuing them with a unique power— a fragile balance between fortune and curse. He saw the kingdom's first rulers rise, fall, and rise again… until that fateful day when the seal was placed to protect their world from certain destruction.

And now, that seal was broken.

A figure emerged from the wavering light—Eldrin himself. His spectral face, both kind and stern, leaned toward Lucien, his eyes seeming to pierce straight into the young man's soul.

— "If you are here, it means the hour of judgment has come."

Le Dernier Secret

Le sceau d’or se brisa dans un éclat de lumière aveuglant. Un grondement sourd parcourut la salle souterraine, faisant trembler les murs ornés de fresques millénaires. Une force invisible souleva les pages du grimoire, les faisant tournoyer dans un tourbillon d’énergie pure. Lucien sentit une chaleur envahir son corps, comme si l’histoire elle-même s’infiltrait en lui, mêlant passé, présent et futur en une seule et même vérité.

Les murs s’animèrent.

Les ombres gravées prirent vie sous ses yeux ébahis, retraçant les origines du Royaume des Secrets. Il vit Eldrin le Sage dans son laboratoire, mélangeant des poudres d’or et de mercure sous la lueur pâle d’une lune invisible. Il le vit forger les premières pièces enchantées, leur conférant un pouvoir unique, un équilibre fragile entre fortune et malédiction. Il vit les premiers souverains du royaume, prospérer, tomber, se relever... jusqu’à ce jour fatidique où le sceau fut posé pour préserver leur monde d’une destruction certaine.

Et maintenant, ce sceau était brisé.

Une silhouette se dessina au cœur de la lumière vacillante : Eldrin lui-même. Son visage spectral, aussi bienveillant que sévère, se pencha vers Lucien, ses yeux semblant sonder jusqu’à l’âme du jeune homme.

— "Si tu es ici, c’est que l’heure du jugement est venue."

Sa voix résonnait avec la puissance d’un millénaire de secrets enfouis. Lucien recula d’un pas, mais un courant invisible l’empêcha de fuir. Derrière lui, Hubert et Gaspard observaient la scène avec un mélange de fascination et d’effroi.

— "Alors, que devons-nous faire ?" demanda-t-il d’une voix hésitante.

Lucien sentit une lueur d’espoir naître en lui.

Il s’approcha du grimoire et posa une main tremblante sur la couverture. Un courant glacé remonta le long de son bras. Une énergie pulsante résonna en lui, cherchant à mesurer sa détermination.

Il prit une grande inspiration et ferma les yeux.

— "Je suis prêt."
