This shocked them, as no one was supposed to inhabit this area, at least according to the information they had received from the town they left a few days ago. Normally, only a few learned scholars were expected to be here. The discovery of this intriguing staircase sparked an insatiable curiosity within them. They exchanged glances, raising their eyebrows, and one of them murmured, "Well, at least it's a staircase and not a mountain. Looks like someone thought of our calves."
