Welcome to week 29! 🤗 So, this week’s theme was the 90s, and you already know the 90s had hits on hits. Picking a song wasn’t easy because, honestly, that era was something else. But after thinking it through, I went with Unbreak My Heart by Toni Braxton, released in 1996.
Now, listen. This song? This song is not just a song. It’s pain. It’s vocals. It’s emotion. The way Toni poured her heart into it? Ha! She wasn’t just singing—she was bleeding on that track. And let’s not even start on the range. Crazy.
I won’t even lie, singing this one wasn’t easy because you can’t just sing it—you have to feel it. And I definitely tried my best to feel it. Anyway, this is my entry for the week. Hope you enjoy it!

First and importantly I wanted to hear that depth just like Toni did in her original and you served that on a platter(it’s the biggest highlight of your entry for me🤍)
Aside from some few moments of flaws which showed how original and tells much of a live performance your presentation was “which I exactly enjoyed”, I enjoyed every bit of the presentation too. Well done girl, I wish you the best this week.🤍

I won't even like performing this song was so different and new for me because Tony Braxton is a contralto singer and I am a mezzo-soprano so it was quite challenging to hit the low notes and maintain them. I had to do a few practices to get that.
I'm so glad you pointed out the depth because it is a song I've practiced personally in the past and I've also listened to other covers and when I don't hear the depth that Toni Braxton gave in the song, it usually removes the magic. So it was something that I had to train my voice to show because naturally my voice is very thin and I don't have depth like that so I'm very happy that you noticed that.
Of course I also noticed the flaws and like you said we are all human. I'm really glad that you mentioned all of these. You have no idea how happy it makes me. Thank you so much for your feedback. It is well received and appreciated. I will be waiting for yours also. When are you dropping?
This is sweet, I so much loved the entry. Very soon, I’m still quite tied up with some school activities (presentation, proposal submission and project works here and there) but I should get my entry in as soon as I have the time. Thank you for doing the song well
