I did it finally!! Posting my entry for the weekly music contest ongoing in the #vibes community.
During this Christmas holiday, a lot of my friends traveled and there was no one to assist me in recording my videos as well as my making a new promotional video since the last one is out of date.
Thank goodness for school resumption because it has brought back my friends from wherever they traveled to, lol. Their absence during the holiday actually helped me in some sense because the song which I covered for this week actually gave me a tough time learning everything about it, the lyrics, timing and all of that. But the absence of my friends and my inability to record my performance gave me lots of time to practice and I hope I did a cool job there covering the song.
I added this song to my playlist a long time ago but just like usual, one can love a song and play it very often but that love will last for not more than a week or two. So I used to love this song to the extent that I often place it on repeat as many times as my air pods can last me. While going through my playlist while doing the laundry, I came across this song and something within me told me, “This is your song for next Vibes contest”. Then I asked myself, “Can I do this?” It took me some time before finally making up my mind to go for this song and I tried my best to do justice to it.
Just as I did my entry video for the vibes contest, I also made a new promotional video and this time a more elaborated, enticing and comprehensive one. I have shared both my entry video link as well as my promo video link on my profile on different social media platforms.
