Greetings to everyone in the Vibes Web 3 community! Today I'm joining Week 32 Contest with this post, which is my entry. For this opportunity, I've decided to perform a song by singer Tina Turner, titled "What's Love Got to Do with It." The song comes from the 1984 album, "Private Dancer," one of the diva's most successful and iconic albums, which also features her popular song, "Private Dancer." In this song, Tina Turner speaks to us about the challenges of love and how, to a certain extent, it is overvalued above self-love. She teaches us how self-preservation must be present before any erratic emotion leads us toward an abyss of suffering and weakness. It's time to rise up and realize that perhaps love (especially romantic love) doesn't deserve such a large space in our minds and souls.
It's a challenge for any singer, as her powerful and distinctive voice is difficult to match. However, here is my interpretation of this song, created with all the love, care, and effort I have put into my short experience as a singer. I hope you enjoy it. ¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Vibes Web 3! El día de hoy me uno al Concurso de la semana #32, con esta publicación que es mi participación. Para esta oportunidad he decidido interpretar una canción de la cantante Tina Turner, la cual se titula, "What's Love Got to Do with It". La canción viene del album de 1984, "Private Dancer", siendo este uno de los discos más exitosos y emblemáticos de la diva, dónde también está su popular canción; Private Dancer. Tina Turner nos habla en esta canción sobre los desafíos del amor y cómo este, es en cierto punto, sobre estimado por encima del amor propio. Dandonos una cátedra sobre cómo la autoconservación debe estar presente antes de que, cualquier emoción errática que nos dirija hacia un abismo de sufrimiento y debilidad. Es debido entonces levantarse y ser conscientes de que, quizás el amor (especialmente el romántico) no merece un espacio tan grande en nuestra mente y alma.
Es un desafío para cualquier cantante, pues su poderosa y peculiar voz, es difícil de igualar. Sin embargo, aquí está mi interpretación de esta canción que la he realizado con todo el cariño, esmero y esfuerzo que tengo en mi corta experiencia cómo cantante. Espero la disfruten.
