Desde que escuché esta canción por primera vez en la película, sentí que resonaba profundamente en mi corazón. La letra habla de la hermosa visión de encontrarnos con Dios cara a cara, y cada vez que la interpreto, me transporto a ese momento sagrado que todos anhelamos experimentar algún día.
Hello everyone! This is my entry for week 30 of the Vibes Web3 Music Competition, and I'm excited to share with you my version of "I Can Only Imagine", but in Spanish. Ever since I heard this song for the first time in the movie, I felt like it resonated deeply in my heart. The lyrics speak of the beautiful vision of meeting God face to face, and every time I perform them, I am transported to that sacred moment that we all long to experience one day.
Decidí agregar un pedazo en portugués al principio de mi interpretación, porque creo que la música es un lenguaje universal que trasciende fronteras. Quería rendir homenaje a la belleza de esta canción y a su mensaje inspirador, no solo en español, sino también en un idioma que ha tocado muchas vidas. Espero que al escuchar mi versión, puedan sentir la misma conexión y emoción que yo siento cada vez que canto estas palabras.
I decided to add a piece in Portuguese at the beginning of my performance, because I believe that music is a universal language that transcends borders. I wanted to pay tribute to the beauty of this song and its inspiring message, not only in Spanish, but also in a language that has touched many lives. I hope that by listening to my version, you can feel the same connection and emotion that I feel every time I sing these words.
