Hi fellas, so today I’m very excited to share my thoughts on the performance of @superjavi in the Vibes Music Competition week 30.
Truthfully, I enjoyed his performance of “Let Her Go” by Passenger and I’m not just saying that because I’m a huge fan of the original song. Although I must confess, that’s definitely part of it!
I first came across “Let Her Go” when I was 15 years old, I think I just left secondary school then and I decided to go into my first relationship. Little did I know it wouldn’t be a fairytale romance.
And believe me, reality hit me hard when I experienced my first heartbreak. But you know what they say, “When life gives you lemon, you make lemonade.” In my own case, I found solace in music, specifically “Let her go.”
That was the song that I listened to and consoled myself. It became my comfort food, my therapy and what have you. I would repeatedly listen to it, convincing myself repeatedly that it was his loss for letting me go.
The lyrics have so much meaning and resonated deeply with me.
I found myself reflecting upon this saying; “you don’t know what you have until you lose it”. It’s A very familiar saying but Passenger brought it to life in a way that felt very relatable.
What I love the most about “Let Her Go” is its universality. It’s not just a song about romantic relationships; it’s about our connections with others, be it through friendship, family, or even acquaintances.
The song is a strong reminder to always recognize the worth of the people or person in our lives before it’s too late.
It was so clear that he had connected with the lyrics on a deep level and that shone through his performance, I tell you.@superjavi performed that song with so much perfection. I was indeed blown away. His tone was impeccable, His body language was captivating and his vocal control was impressive. He made sure to nail every note.
As I watched @superjavi perform, I found myself reminiscing about my own experiences with heartbreak and loss. But, this time, it was not with any sense of sadness or regret; it was rather with a sense of gratitude and appreciation. I realized that, even in the presence of pain and so much uncertainty, there is definitely a beauty to be found.
His Performance of that song proved that indeed music has the power to evoke feelings and emotions and bring you to a place of comfort and happiness.
It was indeed a masterclass in vocal technique and a heartfelt performance.Honestly, the @superjavi rendition of "Let Her Go" was very impressive. I’m so sure so many other performances were exceptional as well. I got to listen to a good number of them but when I saw @superjavi singing “Let Her Go”, I knew I had to give this a little more attention because I relate to the song personally. This review is just on a personal basis and I’m so happy @superjavi did a good delivery.
