Okay en esta semana número 29 del vibes music competition está pasando muchísimas cosas hacía bastante tiempo que no entraba a esta competencia y estoy viendo que hay más sorpresas de lo que me había imaginado. La temática de canciones de los 90 estuvo súper chévere porque obligó a que hubiera un montón de hits en la lista de canciones interpretadas por las artistas de esta semana. Y todos son así como súper clásicos.
La canción creep de Radiohead tuvo dos covers. Y creí que iban a ser iguales pero resulta ser que eligieron versiones completamente diferentes de la canción eso fue toda una sorpresa. Una de las versiones es una balada a piano así como muy romántica e introspectiva medio gospel. Y la otra sí fue el tema original súper Rockstar con guitarras eléctricas.
Okay, in this week number 29 of the vibes music competition there are a lot of things happening. It's been a while since I entered this competition and I'm seeing that there are more surprises than I had imagined. The theme of songs from the 90s was super cool because it forced there to be a lot of hits in the list of songs performed by the artists this week. And they are all like super classics.
The song creep by Radiohead had two covers. And I thought they were going to be the same but it turns out that they chose completely different versions of the song, which was quite a surprise. One of the versions is a piano ballad that is very romantic and introspective, kind of gospel. And the other one was the original song super Rockstar with electric guitars.

Otra de las sorpresas de esta semana es que al igual que uno de los cover que mostré más arriba eligieron como ya dije varios clásicos pero les dieron un giro inesperado porque no interpretaron la versión original de las canciones sino que eligieron una versión acústica instrumental de piano que no había escuchado hasta ahorita. Y de no ser por estas personas nunca las habría escuchado. Aparte dieron unas interpretaciones espectaculares. Primero tengo uno de los covers de esta semana que más me gustó y es believe de Cher. Cuando entré aquí creí que iba a escuchar mucho autotune pero para mi sorpresa fue una versión completamente inesperada. Esta presentación estuvo muy bien en cada uno de sus niveles. La voz es esta muy bien trabajada, la calidad del video es premium y el escenario en el que se firmó se ve increíble. A nivel de presentación es uno de los mejores videos que logré encontrar esta semana muy bien curado todos los elementos de este video. Gracias @olgaestrella .
Another surprise this week is that, just like one of the covers I showed above, they chose, as I said, several classics but gave them an unexpected twist because they didn't play the original version of the songs but chose an acoustic instrumental piano version that I hadn't heard until now. And if it weren't for these people I would never have heard them. Besides, they gave some spectacular performances. First, I have one of the covers this week that I liked the most and it's Believe by Cher. When I came in here I thought I was going to hear a lot of autotune but to my surprise it was a completely unexpected version. This performance was very good on every level. The voice is very well crafted, the quality of the video is premium and the stage where it was shot looks incredible. At the performance level, it's one of the best videos I managed to find this week, all the elements of this video being very well curated.

Otro de los videos que resultó para mí es un cover del inmortal Michael Jackson. De quién este año se viene una biopic que estoy esperando desde ya. Esta canción estuvo muy bien interpretada por @zicmusic . Las vocales en este cover están muy curadas la calidad de la voz de este pana es increíble. Y de nuevo me sorprendieron con una versión impredecible del tema con solo voz y sintetizadores en lugar de la pista del tema original.
Another video that worked for me is a cover of the immortal Michael Jackson. This year there is a biopic coming out about him that I'm already waiting for. This song was very well performed. The vocals in this cover are very well curated, the quality of this guy's voice is incredible. And again they surprised me with an unpredictable version of the song with only voice and synthesizers instead of the original track.

Una de las canciones más icónicas de los 90 está en manos de los backstreet boys. ¿De verdad, quién no se sabe i want it that way? Para mi sorpresa esta fue la única versión que se hizo de esta canción esta semana. Y estuvo muy bien interpretada por @rut.hernandez06 . La voz principal no tiene pérdida. Y aparte el arreglo coral que acompaña la voz principal está muy bien trabajado. De nuevo eligieron una versión acústica de piano de la canción. Esto le da un toque de originalidad sin precedentes.
One of the most iconic songs of the 90s is in the hands of the Backstreet Boys. Who really doesn't know "I Want It That Way"? To my surprise, this was the only version of this song that was made this week. And it was very well performed. The main vocal is perfect. And apart from that, the choral arrangement that accompanies the main vocal is very well done. Once again, they chose an acoustic piano version of the song. This gives it an unprecedented touch of originality.

Otra de las presentaciones que me impresionó fue esta de @yaremiverde1 : in love de Selena. Creo que la voz de esta chica está muy bien trabajada. La presentación estuvo muy limpia y la energía de la cantante me mantuvo enganchado a lo largo de todo el tema. Ojo yo no escucho Selena y no conocía esta canción, no sé si es un clásico de los 90 como los mencionados anteriormente pero fue un trabajo muy bien realizado y disfruté la canción.
Another performance that impressed me was this one of In Love by Selena. I think this girl's voice is very well crafted. The performance was very clean and the energy of the singer kept me hooked throughout the whole song. Mind you, I don't listen to Selena and I didn't know this song. I don't know if it's a 90s classic like the ones mentioned above, but it was a very well done job and I enjoyed the song.

Otra presentación que me gustó mucho de esta semana está en manos de mi amigo @edwardstobia quien eligió la canción de Zoé. Estoy acostumbrado a escucharlo cantar sobre temas un poco más acústicos un poco más latinos con acompañamiento de percusiones menores. Así que fue una sorpresa escucharlo cantar sobre un tema completamente rock. Conozco la banda suave pero no conocía esta canción en particular como todas las canciones de esta banda muy sugerente llena de metáforas muy vivas. Todavía como siempre hice un trabajo excelente en la interpretación y me parece que fue una muy buena entrada de esta semana.
Another performance that I really liked this week is by my friend Eduardo Díaz who chose the song Zoé. I am used to hearing him sing on more acoustic, more Latin songs with minor percussion accompaniment. So it was a surprise to hear him sing on a completely rock song. I know the soft band but I didn't know this song in particular like all the songs of this very suggestive band full of very lively metaphors. Still as always he did an excellent job in the interpretation and I think it was a very good entry this week.
Antes de irme, una presentación en particular me llamó la atención por el hecho de que no tenía música que acompañara la voz. Eso me dio curiosidad y me quedé a ver de qué se trataba todo. De nuevo no conozco la artista cc winas. Pero la interpretación acapella de esta canción me gustó muchísimo. La voz está cargada de emociones fuertes y se nota que esta chica es una cantante de vocación. Desearía que para próximas presentaciones o de la música acompañando La voz sin embargo no me parece que sea un requisito obligatorio. Quizás es hasta buena idea que no haya la música acompañando La voz para cambiar un poco el ritmo del festival de vez en cuando.
Before I left, one performance in particular caught my attention because there was no music accompanying the vocals. That made me curious and I stayed to see what it was all about. Again, I don't know the artist cc winas. But I really liked the acapella performance of this song. The vocals are full of strong emotions and it is clear that this girl is a singer by vocation. I would like for future performances or for the music accompanying the vocals, however I don't think it is a mandatory requirement. Maybe it is even a good idea not to have the music accompanying the vocals to change the rhythm of the festival a bit from time to time.
