This week, my spotlight is on @captainman's "graveyard".
Whew man… that was deep, I feel the ache! “Graveyard” is a raw, emotional tribute, you know something straight from the heart of a young guy who misses the dad, snatched by the cold hands of death. His vulnerability since he left is the most powerful part of this music.
It is a song that reminds me of Milli Vanilli's "I'm gonna miss you", that is before the scandal.
The song captures grief and longing in a deeply personal way. Losing a father, especially one who was a close confidant, creates a vacuum that words struggle to fill. The promise broken by death—“He said he’d always be there, but now he’s facedown in the cold grave”, is haunting and heartbreakingly honest.
They paint loneliness, loss, and the hope of reunion. This is beauty even in its simplicity.
The tone and delivery of the music is kinda strained, but of course, against the backdrop of the singer's emotions, one would so much expect it to be so.
I must confess that the Vibes team sure is, a winning team. This is to appreciate you for all that you do.
I always appreciate your comments and support.
Dear Lord. Now I miss my Dad.

This is heart-touching and I can as well feel his pains because I have also lost my lovely father in the cold hands of death
