"Bésame Mucho" es un bolero que fue compuesto por la gran compositora y pianista clásica mexicana Consuelo Velásquez (1916 - 2005)
Este bolero lo compuso Consuelo el año 1936 cuando apenas contaba con 16 años y aún no había recibido su primer beso.
El año 1944 el cantante norteamericano Nat King Cole grabó este hermoso tema, y de ahí en adelante creció la enorme lista de artistas que grabaron este bolero, entre otros Pedro Infante, Javier Solís, The Beatle, Thalia, Xavier Cugat y su Orquesta, Sammy Davis Jr., Antonio Machín, Lucho Gatica, Plácido Domingo, Vera Lynn, Elvis Presley, Luis Mariano (quien la popularizó en Francia), Sara Montiel, José Carreras, Ray Conniff y su Orquesta, Andrea Bocelli, Frank Sinatra, Luis Miguel, , Zoé, Susana Zabaleta, Mónica Naranjo.
"Bésame mucho" ha sido traducida a más de veinte idiomas y llegó a ser todo un icono dentro de la música popular.
