About uploading, I'm not sure if there should be any problem with uploading on YouTube, it's the way you recorded your video that will be the problem.
YouTube video ratio is 16:9 so you must record your video in 16:9 so that it can give you full screen when you upload it on YouTube. When recording your video, rotate your phone, do not record straight way you've been recording it
