As we approach the new year, we want to remind all participants in the Vibes contest to create and share a promo video for their entries. This is a crucial step in increasing your post's visibility and potential earnings.
Having a promo video allows your post to be limitless in terms of upvotes, which can lead to higher rewards. However, please note that having a promo video does not guarantee a specific payout. The quality of your performance and the overall engagement on your post also play a significant role.
To clarify, please ensure that your promo video is:
- Shared on a Web 2.0 platform (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
- Linked in the same post as your entry
- Clearly states that you are a participant in the Vibes contest (optional: mention that you're a winner, if applicable)
The purpose of the promo video is to spread the word about Vibes, expand the contest, and onboard new users outside the blockchain. By publishing your promo video on Web 2 platforms, you'll help the community grow, increase rewards, and attract investors.
Our goal is to ensure that the number of entries per week reaches at least 250-300 people. Our highest number of entries was a record 553 entries in one single Vibes Week! However, if the number of participants or entries in a week drops, supporters may think the community isn't doing well, which would mean the rewards would be reduced.
When creating your new promo video, please include the hashtag #VibesPromoVid for easy discovery on any of the well-known worldwide Web2 social media platforms. This will also help us track the winners of the promo video contest, who will be selected based on the most views, people reached, and engagement.

I have already made my December promo video which you shared in this post, but I didn't include "#VibesPromoVid" while posting on the Web2 platforms and I can only edit on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. I'm not sure I can edit on TikTok, I'll check but I can't edit on X.

Your promo video should be recorded differently and published on Web2 platforms. Then you take the link of the promo video and add it to the post of your entry.
