Im curious how your friend is trying to learn. Is he taking lessons or using some kind of app as well?
The thing is...it just takes time and muscle memory (considering I have zero talent starting off) and you need some kind of routine in there. My routine was gone for a looooong time.
He's actually taking online classes from his chant teacher. A couple years back he decided to explore the musical part, having never sang or played an instrument before! :)
I admire these kinds of things... No experience, but hey...let me just start. And even with classes going on...that is grande
Starting is what counts, taking the first step is the most important; from there... we'll see! :)
