I am @Katezauka and I will be doing a cover of the song 'Sweet mother I no go forget you'. Which was released in 1994 by Prince Nico Mbarga, a Nigerian highlife musician. The song was later recorded by a Cameroonian vocalist Louisiana Tilda. She would eventually record her own solo version of Mbarga’s classic “Sweet Mother”), as well as other Mbarga classics. Therefore in this rendition I uses Tilda's version of the record that's why I had to reference it to her in my introduction.

This old song inspired me alot and it reminded me of the unending love my mother showed to me as a child and even till now. I could vividly remember an incidents that happened one day when I was very young. That very day I wasn't feeling fine so I could not eat anything and even the little I struggled to swallow in I ended up vomiting them. Suddenly very late at night that day I felt the urge to take pap, and when I told my mum that night she had to go out waking up neighbours to request for pap because we don't have it at home at that period of time. She searched and didn't give up even though was already late until she was able to get it and processed it for me to take that night. I felt sorry for her because I couldn't resist the urge, neither did she give on me. That was when I knew that my mum can go to any lengths to ensure my safety and wellbeing.

I am so much inspired by the selfless love of my mother and I deem it fit to do a cover of this song for her and my vibes family and friends. I really hope you enjoyed my entry like i did enjoyed the original song.
