Many years ago,in university, life was not always easy. I saw many people struggling, making bad choices, and facing hard times. That was when I wrote this song, "Yes, I Was in the World of Sin."
But one story really touched my heart and made me write this song. I had a classmate who was lost in alcohol and drugs. He was very addicted, and it looked like there was no hope for him. Many people gave up on him. They thought he would never change. But God had a different plan.
One day, something happened. God stepped in and started working in his life. Slowly, he began to change. I watched him struggle, fight, and finally break free from his addiction. It was not easy, but with God's help, he made it! He became a new person—happy, healthy, and full of life. Seeing this miracle with my own eyes made me understand how powerful God is.
That’s why I wrote this song. It is a song of hope, healing, and new beginnings. If you are going through something hard—maybe addiction, sadness, or pain—this song is for you. I want you to know that God can heal you too. Nothing is too hard for Him. If you open your heart, He will help you and give you a fresh start.
So, I sing this song for you. May it remind you that with God, all things are possible. He makes everything new, and He will help you at the right time.
