I was at an event a few days ago with a couple of musical ministers like me and their instrumentalists. While I was trying to talk about HIVE and introduce the VIBES WEB3 community to them, I shared my experience so far and encouraged them to register because it’s the best place for them to explore, share their creativity, talent, and skills—and be rewarded for it.
One of them confronted me and said he was tired of going to competitions and similar events because, here in Nigeria, a lot of unfair things happen in competitions. He said, "You will see with your own eyes how they play foul games, and there's nothing you can do."
But I told him that when it comes to the VIBES WEB3 community, it is not just about the judges. The main people who appoint the finalists are the community members.
The community picks the winners, and the judges only confirm them. So, it all depends on you—your dedication, determination, and consistency in delivering quality work.
I told them that on VIBES WEB3 MUSIC COMMUNITY, you reap what you sow. If you improve your skills, stay committed, and work hard on every presentation, your efforts will pay off because people will discover you, single you out, and vote for your win on VIBES.
One of them suddenly asked me, "What are the chances that an instrumentalist could be a winner in this VIBES WEB3 MUSIC COMPETITION you’re talking about?"
I told him that many instrumentalists have become first-place and second-place winners—not just once, not even ten times. All he had to do was showcase his skills.
But he didn’t believe. Instead, he insisted on seeing proof of an instrumentalist who had won in the VIBES WEB3 music community before.
I was so happy to open my phone and show him many instrumentalists among the finalists, especially from the all-time VIBES WEB3 winners posted by the amazing @verbal-d.

When they saw this, they were encouraged, and I got almost six of them registered.
And to crown my efforts and also make them realize that this platform truly values instrumentalists—out of the six finalists for Week 28, which is this week—two people won with only instrumental videos. The other two sang and played.
In fact, the person in first place played and won with only an instrumental!
Finalists for Week 28:
Now, the reason I’m sharing this with you is to emphasize that it doesn’t matter who you are or where you go—please talk about the VIBES WEB3 community. Many people are out there looking for this kind of opportunity.
They have everything it takes to win this competition, but they don’t know about it.
So, it is not enough for us to just create promo videos. The best thing we can do is engage in one-on-one promotion of the VIBES WEB3 community.
We should talk to people wherever we find ourselves—whether in our churches, at events, or anywhere we go—to invite talented individuals to join this community.
I’m glad I was able to talk to a few people, and some of them asked me to register them, which I did.
The VIBES WEB3 community encourages personal growth and serious rehearsals. I can tell you this from personal experience.
Yes, the VIBES WEB3 music community is one of the best places for you to grow because they will encourage you to rise and bring out the best in you.
When you see a couple of your friends doing great in the VIBES WEB3 music competition, gaining recognition, and receiving a lot of upvotes, you will be personally motivated to work on your craft.
That kind of growth only happens in the VIBES WEB3 competition, and I want to encourage you—if you have a friend who is very talented, whether a musician or an instrumentalist, but doesn’t like practicing or takes things for granted, ask them to join this community.
You will see a transformation.
Such people will suddenly want to practice properly before presenting their work. Even when they choose a song to sing, they will rehearse it multiple times.
This has been one of the greatest things that has happened to me and to many others. A couple of my friends have also shared similar experiences on this platform.
The foundation of every successful artist is practice—consistent, tireless practice. You just have to keep practicing, whether you feel like it or not, because that is what makes you better and helps you improve daily.
That is what VIBES WEB3 is all about
When you see someone at the top winning the competition, the difference between you and them is that they have mastered their craft.
They are showing you that if you also master your craft, you can move to the next level.
That is what the VIBES WEB3 community has done for me, and I am so happy to talk about it today.
Michael Jackson’s Success Story
Lately, I watched a documentary on YouTube about Michael Jackson, the great legend. The documentary talked about how serious he was about balancing his craft and becoming a genius in what he did.
According to them, Michael Jackson used to rehearse for almost six hours daily. Some of those legendary dance steps you saw on screen were not something a lazy person could do.
They came from intense dedication, serious rehearsals, and a deep passion for his craft.
Over time, Michael Jackson became a genius, honed his skills, and fully mastered his craft.
He didn’t need to talk much—he knew exactly what to do for every song he released.
The same principle applies to every artist.
Once you prioritize your rehearsals—at least one or two hours daily—it will reflect in your voice, strengthen it, and positively impact your career.
Three Key Points to Remember:
- Introduce your friends to the VIBES WEB3 music community. Promo videos alone are not enough. We need to engage in one-on-one conversations, especially in our churches and with our church choir members.
- Dedication to rehearsals. This is the only thing that can uplift you and take you to the next level.
- Mastering your craft. When you perfect your skills and balance your craft, the crown will surely be yours.
A Special Thank You to the Judges!
Lastly, I want to give a very big shoutout to all the judges.
@lordbutterfly, @silentscreamer, and @verbal-d—you guys are doing a wonderful job!
It is not easy to monitor almost a thousand posts from the first submission to the end of the competition.
It’s a serious job, but you are handling it effortlessly.
Thank you so much for your hard work.
Thank you for understanding what it takes for an artist to prosper.
And thank you for giving us this opportunity to express ourselves and receive rewards for our creativity.
God bless you all abundantly!
