We had a total of 133 entries.
Judging for week 2 has been as difficult as ever.
Each of these amazing musicians deserve to win the main award, but unfortunately only 6 had to be chosen in the end.
...but, as we like to remind folks.

You really took us on a serene journey with this meditative tune. You showcased some delicate fingerpicking and soulful melodies while creating a tranquil atmosphere that just swept us away. It was like escaping into a world of calm and introspection... and as I write this its making my 2 year old sit quietly on the couch for the first time today. 🙂

You have a very warm sound, calm right hand and a nice vibrato. Oblivion is definitely of the judges favorite compositions and you definitely do it justice.

Congratulations to the winners. I think the judges gave a good assessment. You have to open up and be receptive to Hispanics. Because so much bias looks ugly.
From what I can tell there are some excellent entries from Spanish-speaking nations - I think it would need a special fluent judge or two to go through those entries though? I know you and others already do this for the "Music Zone" community - I wonder if you could suggest people who would be willing (and trusted!) to judge (instead of taking part) if the Vibes team is keen on the idea?

I have gone through some of the entries for week 2 and it was inspiring. I look forward to participate in future editions.
QUESTION/OBSERVATION:
How about making a transparency post detailing the key scoring categories and their score for the selection of winners. Plus also sharing a key for rewards of upvotes to the users. Look s like some got way very high upvotes and others quite very little not knowing what they did not do well.
I'll be open and honest about my upvotes but first it's worth mentioning they're not worth much compared to some others, and all I am is someone enjoying the music. Total outsider. Not a representative of Vibes. Even if they did set up some guidelines for people interested in supporting the music, I'm under no obligation to follow them. And I'm sure there are several more just like me out there.
First, I have to see the performance. If I miss it, they won't get a vote. Also, at times there are several performances to enjoy but I only have a limited supply of voting power. Sometimes I have to lower the percentage in order to spread it out more. Sometimes I can't vote due to those limitations then end up missing performances as more are coming in when my voting power is charged up again.
In the event I stumbled into something that doesn't interest me somehow, I will not stop to tell them what I think they did wrong. That is not a comfortable conversation to have with anyone.
All I am is someone out enjoying music on my own time. I'm not a music critic or a judge.
Voting for winners has been explained in previous posts that were pinned in the community.
Upvotes are given at the discretion of the curators.
