It's time to share with you my participation in week 12 of the Vibes Web3 Music Competition and for this opportunity I bring a two bass cover of a song that I've been listening to for many years and that is part of my playlist. “Directo al grano” by the Venezuelan band Viniloversus has a special place in my heart because about 10 years ago I played it with some friends in a cover band in which I played bass, I must say that it was my favorite because of its particular bass
The formation of Viniloversus has two bass, a guitar and drums, something that is unusual to see in any formation and in any genre, that obviously caught my attention taking into account that the instrument that I play the most is the bass. It is the first time I do a cover of this kind and the truth is that it has been a great experience that I hope to repeat in the coming weeks, I had a lot of fun in the process and that's part of the reason why I do th
To give you more details on how I did this cover, the first thing I did was to download the track from the band's official YouTube channel, then I used the Moises application to remove the two bass lines from the song. Once that was done, I proceeded to record the two bass lines with Cubase 5. For the more basic bass I applied a distortion effect and for the more melodic one I applied a Chorus effect, I also applied EQ to give it a higher frequency.

Viniloversus, I really like this band, I have that first original album. Something particular in this band is that they have two basses. In my case I have not seen it in another band, it is something atypical to see.
