My 2024 Music Wrapped

in Vibes5 days ago

Looking back at the music you listened to the most during the year has turned into such a fun part of the end of the year. All thanks to Spotify.

Apart from the pleasure from the fun it's also a great opportunity to find new great music, because when you look at other people's most played songs you might want to check them out, and chances are if you check out a lot you'd find some gems.

Since I don't use Spotify there is no Spotify Wrapped for me, but I'm not going to be outdone.

I have my ways, here is a count of the songs I've played and how many times I've played them:

The numbers to the side are the amount of times I've played each song. You can see the top song was played 60 times this year. Damn 🌚

My taste is all over the place, but I mainly listen to rap, drill, trap, and Nigerian Afrobeats. And my favorite artist is the British rapper Headie One. I've listened to too much Headie One, damn, but I just can't get enough. I'm sure next year would be more of the same.

Here is just more detailed representation of the top 10:

My top 10 are

  1. Shallipopi ft Pa Moday-Edo - Obapluto
  2. Headie One - Dressing Gown
  3. Yame - Call of Valhalla
  4. Headie One ft Hamza - I got you
  5. Burna Boy - Big 7
  6. Headie One and Dutchavelli - You're the reason (this is not an official song, just a mix made by some DJ kinda guy)
  7. Yame - Becane
  8. Headie One - Hung Jury
  9. Headie One - The One
  10. Headie One and Gazo - 22 Carats

However, the post must be about Vibes specifically in some way shape or form. Otherwise please do not post random posts and pictures within the Vibes Community of your normal daily life blogs or things that are not directly related to the actual Vibes Contest, its Musical Participants and their entries. Thank you in advance for your understanding and respect for the rules. It makes my job as the Vibes Judge much easier to go through all the hundreds of posts each Vibes week. I appreciate it.
