¿Cómo están? Primero que nada, un saludo a todos ustedes, comunidad Hive, espero se encuentren bien.
A continuación, me presento ante ustedes: Mi nombre es Richard Sánchez y soy de Venezuela. Me desempeño en la batería de manera activa desde hace 8 años, aunque, mi proceso de aprendizaje comenzó cuando tenía 9 años de edad.

He colaborado para 8 proyectos musicales, 2 producciones y una incontable cantidad de presentaciones en el movimiento
Rock/Metal nacional. A pesar de lo anterior, llevo 3 años dedicado a la
investigación e interpretación de la música en total, con la intención de
ser apto y capaz de ejecutar cualquier género que se me demande con
precisa eficacia, además de tener el entusiasmo de llegar a traspasar la
etiqueta de baterista por la de percusionista y músico de sesión.

En esta etapa de mí vida musical, estoy apostando con la muestra de este vídeo que, en efecto, lo considero como el inicio de un reto de superación personal, reto que desarrollará mí manera de afrontar las situaciones que, probablemente, no tenga previstas o me saquen de mí zona de confort.

El modo en que se llevó a cabo este vídeo fue de manera netamente espontánea, es decir, lo que verán próximamente o vieron, fue el
resultado de una idea concebida el mismo día, bajo un tiempo de dos o tres horas para su creación, me refiero a toma de decisiones en general (tipo de música, canción, estilo de presencia escénica), sin espacio para el repaso del patrón
rítmico de la canción; todo esto por la premura de la situación, debido a que me enteré del concurso con poco tiempo de antelación.

Quiero destacar también que agregó más peso al reto, el tener que interpretar la canción en una batería electrónica, contando bajo un preset algo complicado de llevar para mí, pero a pesar de esto (y de muchas otras cosas que omitiré), terminó siendo muy angustiante pero divertida y desafiante la experiencia, esperando que les guste y reciba el mayor apoyo posible de ustedes. Les agradezco a todos de antemano, en especial, a aquellos que se detengan a leer este escrito, el cual proviene desde lo más profundo de mí ser. Un abrazo a todos y cuídense.

Es primera vez que me determino crear un contenido audiovisual atrayente, pues no es mi fuerte y, sin
antes olvidar mencionar que, el mismo se debe en parte a la propuesta y ayuda de queridos amigos íntimos y músicos allegados, quienes también son responsables
de su grabación y edición.

How are you all? First of all, greetings to all of you, Hive community, I hope you are well. Allow me to introduce myself: My name is Richard Sánchez and I'm from Venezuela. I've been actively playing the drums for 8 years now, although my learning process began when I was 9 years old.

I've collaborated on 8 musical projects, 2 productions, and countless performances in the national Rock/Metal scene. Despite this, for the past 3 years, I've been dedicated to researching and interpreting music as a whole, aiming to be proficient and capable of playing any genre demanded of me with precise effectiveness, as well as having the enthusiasm to move beyond the label of drummer to percussionist and session musician.

At this stage of my musical life, I'm embarking on what I consider to be the beginning of a personal challenge with the presentation of this video, a challenge that will develop my ability to face situations that I may not have anticipated or that take me out of my comfort zone.

This is the first time I've decided to create engaging audiovisual content, as it's not my forte, and I must mention that it's partly due to the proposal and assistance of dear close friends and fellow musicians, who are also responsible for its recording and editing.

The way this video was carried out was purely spontaneous, meaning that what you'll see shortly or have seen was the result of an idea conceived on the same day, under a time frame of two or three hours for its creation. This includes decision-making in general (type of music, song, style of stage presence), without any time for rehearsing the song's rhythm pattern; all of this due to the urgency of the situation, as I found out about the contest with little advance notice.

I also want to emphasize that the challenge was intensified by having to interpret the song on an electronic drum kit, using a preset that was somewhat difficult for me to handle. Despite this (and many other things I'll omit), the experience turned out to be very nerve-wracking but also fun and challenging, hoping that you like it and receive as much support as possible from all of you.
