If I had my way I would have reviewed a couple of entries for week 29 because I enjoyed listening and watching some of them, but couldn't leave a comment. Well, hopefully, I'll visit some entries for week 30 and leave some comments.
Anyway, I noticed the writing reviews in the Vibes community have been about the participants who compete, but the judge needs to be judged, right? 😉
As you already know, from what you just read above, I will be reviewing @verbal-d's week 29 performance and I wish our second judge @silentscreamer blessed us with her beautiful voice in week 29 with a 90s song.
First of all, if he was contesting with us you already know what will happen, haha.
Verbal D performed "YOU DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT US". It's a title that draws attention because most people can relate to it and most have had their experiences. His performance conveyed undiluted emotions in his voice, facial expressions and body language, clearly singing the powerful lyrics and rapping all the way.
Here are a few of my favourite lines from his lyrics:
You only got the eyes for the green
You don’t see the different changes in the lives that you bring
You only waiting for the phone calls…the Ring of Ka-Ching 💰
The GREEDY MUST STOP, have a thought, and don’t rot…!!
I am here for a reason, not just only a season

Keep preaching, Gospel, everybody needs it…
This song is one that everyone needs to hear because we have not only experienced inhumanity from others but somehow, we have also, at some point in time cared less for others for one reason or the other. It's time to reflect and get things right.
I love that even if he is one of our judges, he tries to participate each week with mostly original songs, being creative with meaningful messages striking through the heart and resonating with his audience.
I respect how he uses his lyrics to pass messages to his listeners and this shows his passion for music and humanity which is a motivation to those who are truly here for music and creativity. I would say; that is how music should be practised.
"Será que no me amas". This is a music community of talented members with the desire for music. It pleased me to see something different and exceptional. He played the musical instrument easily with all pleasure and concentration that made me enjoy the pleasant tones it fed my ears. He had good control while playing it which created a beautiful and impressive melody.Okay, another entry that caught my attention was the vibraphone performance by @ricardopercusion, he covered
Unfortunately, it was my first time seeing his entry with the vibraphone, it pleased me to find out he has made entries with it, but I haven't paid close attention to all the entries so far.
With his head and body movements, you can tell he enjoyed his performance as if he listened as part of the audience who received it. It's one thing to learn a musical instrument and it's another thing to deliver a great performance without falling out of tone. His performance was excellent and kept me smiling all through as I watched him play the vibraphone.
Lastly, I want to thank those who visited my week 29 entry and also made a review about it. I saw them all and I appreciate them. So expect some Leo tokens in your wallet soon for my late response to your comments and reviews. God bless you all. 🙏🧡
A GENTLE REMINDER OF THE VIBES' RULES
Every week we are reminded by our judges of the rules to follow as each rule likely adds an extra point when judging our performances. Our judges have reminded us again in preparation for week 30, oh, wow! Did you read that? WEEK 30! I must say this is one to celebrate, don't you think? You can check out the latest update by our judges. I would like to add a few...
Week 30 has begun and it will be to our benefit to have the following in mind:
- The Vibes community is open to members for one vibes' entry and a written post. So if you're a singer or an instrumentalist, you're entitled to one Vibes entry and one written post, but if you're not participating in the Vibes music competition, you are entitled to one written post.
- Try to engage and support others and reply to those who left a comment on your entry. (Oh, Winanda, go and reply to those who visited your last entry, 🙈).
- In case you are having difficulty in publishing your entry through Ecency or PeakD, you can publish your Vibes entry using the INLEO frontend. Check out the post to learn how to do it and add the 5% beneficiary.
- On publishing your entry, make sure your Vibes promo video is not up to a month old. Your video promotion has to be within 1 month since published on Web 2 platforms and not over a month. I hope you get that.
- Mistakes can be made, it's necessary not to rush to publish your entry but crosscheck over and over again before publishing to avoid "an error post", check your 5% beneficiary, check your Vibes promo video link(s) and make sure you are publishing in the Vibes community.
